Rydan 2

There was a great deal of excitement and commotion as the new arrivals kicked the large family ant nest into motion. It had been some time since new folks had gotten added to the ranks and it looked like with accepting Teiluj, they got three extra as a bonus.

He caught his wife's eyes full of concern and rabid intelligence and worry and he started to move toward the newcomers least any of his children do something rash. He gave Thea a quick kiss of reassurance. He had long arms that could hold combatants at bay should diplomacy fail. He was the designated diplomat with Thea wearing the pants of the family. He could usually get his kids to settle though they did respect his authority for all that it was calmer and less terrifying than their mother's.

He hugged Tei as well, "A pleasure to meet you dear." Before she held the kids off course, thus he was close enough to get one of the first majestic looks at his two new grandbabies. He too had to say that he didn't think Lynx would be the first.

He tried not to get incinerated by Zasha's glare at her mother, Thea was brave to say that, their daughter could toss fireballs and lightning now.

He took quick stock of all of his other children, noting their positions and the storm of emotions rolling across their faces. He squinted at Ryshannion who had no love for the hybrid lady that had stolen away her monk like brother. Monk like no more it seemed. Who knew the ol boy had it in him. The twin sure, but Iexa seemed to be relaxed with the mysterious shifter woman that Rydan had only caught the odd glimpse of so far.

Some of his kids had been altered by the tree magic, it must have thought he himself was unique enough because he remained untouched by it. Zasha and Rath and Iexa had gotten whammied though as had Tei apparently and Sio.

He greeted Lynx and took up a protective type position reading what his sons eyes said in that way of Fathers, he kept his posture friendly though.

Zasha 2

She was so angry at her Mother's words that sparks shot off her finger tips to fizzle a few inches out from her body. Her anger sort of eclipsed everything else and ruined the coming of her new sister in law and her new kids. She was too angry too approach the children. That was such a low blow, her mother knew how much she wanted children but trying to flirt with Aire was like smacking her head against the wall. Meanwhile her Mother say on her laurels having birthed a whopping six children where Zasha sat at zero with LYNX of all people taking the first father of grandbabies slot. She swore heartily under her breath.

Tei would just have to understand her position later, it wouldn't do to try and strangle her Mother in the presence of her whole family and the new arrivals. She was all but snorting fire though.
