His hands sliding up her back, holding her against him, eased whatever concerns she may have had she wanted him. Her words trailed off into the softest of whispers. Her body continued to respond to his every touch. Another gasp as he moved to lift her. Her back arching in response, her legs wrapped around his hips keeping her held in place.

He was warm, a warmth she needed in ways she couldn't even begin to fathom. They had been inches away from kissing only moments before. "I want to stay--" Teiluj moaned. Fully exposing her neck to Lynx her arms wrapped around his neck to keep him close.

A disappointed moan slipped out of the female hybrid when Lynx abruptly stopped. A confused look passed over her face. Her breath still deep and heavy, his apology nearly upset her. Not only did she not deserve it. But it should be her apologizing to him.

No, he wasn't getting off the hook that easily. Taking in a deep breath Teiluj swallowed down the fear that was building in her. He was not going to pull away from her like that. No. Biting her lower lip Teiluj reacted impulsively. Tilting her head to the side she moved to press her lips to his. It was quick, tentative, her body shook with the rare occurrence of her own confidence. Only then was she aware he had paused because of someone knocking on the door.

Her heart instantly sank as she moved to push away from Lynx. The hybrid didn't know who the voice belonged to. For all she knew it could be someone else who wanted Lynx. Another woman in his life perhaps. A finger lifted to trace the edges of her lips. Her face bright with embarrassment. She had nothing but the blanket to cover herself with.

"We?" Teiluj whispered. "I can't... not like this."

She was just as surprised as her daughter to hear Lynx say 'we.' Of course she wasn't exactly who he was referring to since she knew her other son wasn't home. A raised brow had her staring at the door for a moment. "Do you have a girl in there? In Iexa's room, really?" She sighed and shook her head.

Still, he'd said they'd be out so she waited. Thea crossed her arms over her chest and tapped her foot on the floor as she grew somewhat impatient. Lynx wasn't the type to bring girl's home or even really show interest in others, so she was curious to see who had convinced him to do so.

The proper kiss had Teiluj stopping in place. Holding the blanket against her body with one arm. The other hiding beneath. He didn't want to hide her? Her mind raced as her eyes followed Lynx across the room to his bedside where a pair of pants had been discarded. Her eyes turned back to the door. If he didn't mean to hide her, then who were the two voices on the other side of the door?

The mention of having a girl in the room with him had Teiluj standing on edge. That sounded like a motherly voice on the other side. Her eyes flashed back towards Lynx. Allowing the shift in her body as she easily hid behind him. Her grip on the blanket tightened, her body pressed up against Lynx timidly. Even though he was reassuring her, she still felt the wave of panic rush through her. How would they react to seeing her in this situation?

Realizing the destruction her radaku companion was causing. Teiluj waited patiently for Lynx to speak before calling out her radakus name. The sounds on the other side of the door eased back into a soft growl, as it was obvious the creature was pacing back and forth.

Instant regret. She knew that without a doubt, all attention would turn on her. It was taking all of her might not to attempt to find another hiding place.

She waited for the door to open and when it did she wasn't disappointed. Her son did in fact have a girl with him. A girl that didn't have much clothes on if the blanket was any indication. And to top it off the girl clearly had Alk ancestry since she had antennae. Thea gave a smirk of her own then. "You take after me I see. She's gorgeous." Her husband was an alk hybrid so it amused her that Lynx would go for the same.

"Of course I'm teaching her how to sneak into windows. Would you want her to get caught?" She trained all her kids in basic sneaky skills. It could save their lives one day.

She looked past Lynx to the female that seemed to control the beast in the other room. "Hello dear, I'm Lynx's mother. You can call me Thea." She didn't want to be rude after all. "This is Ryshanion. His baby sister."

Teiluj's face flushed as his sister spoke. She was foolish to think she could escape this situation without being noticed. Timidly Teiluj stepped out from behind Lynx, thankful that she didn't have to introduce herself to them. That would have been too much. Her eyes cast towards the ground. What she expected was a lecture, what came however was completely unexpected. Were they welcoming her? Her eyes looked back up towards Lynx, giving a small shake of her head.

Yes, she wanted to check on Tao but the beast was calming down now and even she wasn't sure it was a good idea to let him out of the room. She didn't want to appear rude to his family by running and hiding away. Despite her rather precarious predicament with lacking proper clothes and all. It wasn't like Lynx had spare shirts lying around. Giving a shiver at the cold air around her Teiluj leaned a little into Lynx. "Hes been kind, and offering me shelter for the past few weeks." Teiluj finally spoke meekly, "please excuse Tao. Hes very protective of me." She winced at the reminder of the bite Lynx had received in his attempts to calm the radaku down. "Hes been helping me with training my Kinfa and Radaku."

Shifting awkwardly Teiluj fidgeted, their lurking around her window was what had caused her to flee in the first place. Not that it was her window per say, so they really couldn't say they had interrupted anything. The realization that instead of attempting to fight the situation she had inevitably run to Lynx. Which in turn exposed something between them. Something that had been building for some time. The question now was, where would they go from here?

"Nice to meet you dear. I'm glad my son still has the manners I taught him." Knowing that Lynx was helping the girl was interesting. Thea knew he could help her without having brought her home with him. Especially letting her stay for a few weeks. Now that had to mean something.

She grinned at Lynx as Ry whispered to her. "Hm. Maybe. It does look like we interrupted a private moment between the two." Oh she was enjoying this. Getting to embarrass Lynx was rare. "If you'd have sent word you had a house guest we would have written ahead or started with picklocking the front door." She motioned to the door they'd come through after the failed window attempt.

"Should I expect grandbabies from this or...?" Was she a little excited about the thought? Yes. She always figured it would be Iexa or Zasha that gave her grandchildren first but here Lynx was.

Tact was certainly not a strong suit of his sisters. Teiluj noticed, her face could help but redden at the question. Giving a smile and lifting a couple fingers to wave back at his mother's greeting. This was certainly the most unconventional way to meet someone's family. Teiluj winced internally, she had a feeling she wasn't going to be living this one down.

As if things couldn't get worse, his mother was questioning just how far they had come. All that escaped her was a squeak her face turned as red as it could get. Only now realizing exactly what it was they were getting in to. They had only been in that situation because she had been spooked. Her eyes flicked back up towards Lynx at the mention of nothing happening. A smile played at her lips. Did he wish something had happened?

A whine from the other side of the closed door pulled Teilujs attention back towards Lynx's actual room. Lowering her head she politely attempted to excuse herself. Slipping into the room so that Tao was no longer alone. Taking the time to put something on.

Feeling a bit relieved that she wasn't so exposed Teiluj emerged again. Tao bolted out the door, giving a warning growl of 'do not approach' to the females in the hallway. Teiluj stood in the doorway to the room she currently occupied. Unsure if she should return to Lynx's side or remain away from him now that the heat of the moment was gone. Her fingers touched her lips briefly, golden eyes flashed over to meet his silver ones. She had liked that kiss.
