I have had to write this reply 4 times.. D< stupid internet!
To the question about the size of his family he gave a short laugh and a nod of his head. "Yeah. I have five siblings if that tells you anything. That's not including my cousins." He also had aunts and uncles and grandparents to add to that number. It was a lot. When she brought up that it was just her and her mom but that her mom was gone he frowned slightly. He couldn't imagine being without his own mother. He might not spend a lot of time at home but when he did she was somehow always there. He was convinced she knew when he was on his way.
When Starline grew impatient with him he turned to look at the beast just in time to see her take off. He cringed a little. He'd definitely have to bribe the bird with something special later to make up for it. "Sorry Starline." He called out to the familiar.
When she asked how he wasn't paired up with anyone be brought his attention back to her. Though he did have to glance down at himself when she said to look at him. Was there something specific she meant? "I've not found anyone worth being with. Most don't appreciate my diluted bloodline." A smirk formed on his face as she brought up flirting. "This is just me being nice. I'm not good at flirting but if you want me to try I can." As he brought his gaze back up to look at Teiluj's face he noticed that another tear was forming. It seemed something was upsetting her. He moved forward so that he could be the one to wipe it away with his thumb this time. "Hey.. what is it you were searching for?" He questioned. "Maybe I can help you find it." With Teiluj this upset it made him want to help her.
"Don't cry Teiluj. I'm afraid I don't do well with female tears." His sisters always got him with those.
