He grabbed at his throat and coughed violently as he tried to get air back into his lungs. He slowly got up to a kneeling position, but was unable to further capitalize on any offense due to trying to recover.

Salem felt Marcus grip him by the arm and sling him with considerable force, causing "Showtime" to stumble roughly into the nearby steel stairs! Putting his hands on the top stair, Salem grunted and huffed, smiling a little as he turned to address Marcus. "Heheh...I remember babysitting you." he said, tilting his head with a lopsided grin. "Lookit you now, just a bigger kid...still getting into trouble."

Marcus has no time to chat back and forth with Salem. He'd been given his marching orders earlier in the evening, from two different heads of the family. the champ turns and reaches for one of the ladders at this point, which he attempts to launch at Salem's head
Inside the ring, Blaze recovers enough to realize Erynys isn't up yet, and attempts to boot him in the face

As he continued to recover, he felt the impact of the boot to his face which sent him hitting the mat. He decided to create some space and roll out of the ring to collect himself.

Salem was catching his breath, back to the steel steps as Marcus looked to grab a nearby ladder with ill-intent, buch to the chagrin of the fans! Scoping out the distance, "Showtime" sought to catch the young Damone by surprise and kick the ladder back into Marcus as he was sizing up the throw!

Blaze steps out of the ring as well. As Marcus gets the ladder kicked back in his face, Blaze looks to catch Salem bouncing back up with a quick clothesline to the floor

A few moments is all he needed to compose himself and get his wits about him. He noticed that Blaze was sizing up his partner and he decided to come in and look to lay out the big man with a Polish hammer sledge to the chest.

Salem had rolled successfully for imitative, knocking Marcus back with his own ladder, but failed his perception check, eating a Clothesline immediately from behind courtesy of Blaze! Dropping to the ground again, "Showtime" tried to recover as fans jeered The Syndicate!

Blaze had successfully taken some heat off Marcus by knocking the crap out of Salem, but unfortunately it's Blaze's turn as the sledge takes the big man off his feet immediately after

Blaze had hit the floor with a SPLAT as the sledge had connected. The crowd gasped as the shot echoed through the arena and rather than play to the crowd, Reich would look to press the advantage by mounting Blaze and peppering him with some nasty right hands to the face.

Blaze is aware enough to cover up as Erynys tries to rain down blows on him.
Meanwhile, marcus is leaning against the apron after the ladder was kicked in his face, and much like Blaze tried to help him, he attempts to help Blaze.....by attempting to kick Erynys in the head

Blow after blow landed on Blaze and he was so preoccupied that Erynys never saw the kick coming. It hit flush on his head and his vision became obscured by stars as he hit the floor in a heap.

"Get up!" Marcus yells at Blaze.
Blaze responds by doing as told out of habit more so than because he was told. With the two big men on their feet, Marcus grabs the ladder again, lifting it so that Blaze can grab the other end. With one giant on each end of the ladder, the two would wait for Erynys to get up again, then together attempt to ram the ladder into his face

He shook his head as he tried to clear the cobwebs out of his vision. His ears were ringing and he felt his balance go off a bit, but he did his best to fight through it. He slowly made his way to his feet and turned around only to be met with the ladder being rammed in his face which sent him down hard.
His face felt wet and a cursory inspection saw his hand come back crimson as he had been busted open by the shot.

well, now things are interesting. and what's good for one is good for the other, so Blaze and Marcus would turn their attempt to Salem to give him some of the same treatment
