((Post 4)) Teiluj rose to her feet as she was introduced. Giving a soft bow to the two hybrid males. Her eyes still looking back and forth between the two male hybrids, then back to Dem. Her cheeks dusting with a blush. Her hands clutching each other in front of her nervously. Tao rose to his feet alongside the female hybrid. Moving to stand beside her. Taking note of the radaku her mother had given her. Teiluj lifted one hand to scratch under his muzzle. "I wont be much trouble. I can keep quiet and Tao here will be able to keep up with you." She muttered nervously. "I will do my best to learn quickly. I-I wont cause trouble."

[ Svadra 5 ]
The tall hybrid with bi-colored eyes glanced curiously at Teiluj. It was rare to see such a diluted hybrid, and he could understand the interest and attention she might catch on her travels. And yet, he was curious on why she didn't want to just go with a caravan. It wasn't his place to ask, and he was heading the direction anyway, so the question did not linger long in his mind.
Turning back as Dem continued to explain the whys and the whats, he nodded slowly, his posture still relaxed and almost looking bored. Warrior he may be, he still was the languid hybrid he grew up as.
Raising a brow at her thinly veiled threat, something he was quite used to living both in Oba and in Jauhar, he waved it off easily with little concern. He wasn't one to go on a galivanting adventure, and with Crocus at his side they were both capable enough to dissuade any would-be thieves from taking advantage of a small traveling group. The only thing they might have done better was had a traveling familiar, but both Crocus and Svadra were not of the guardian track and cared little for beasts.
"Navigation? Alas I am not as attuned with survival skills as I'd like. Convenient enough then that Crocus decided to join us..." turning to his peer, he gave a small smirk, "We may have use for you yet."

[ Crocus 5] Crocus was growing bored of the politics of the conversation, instead just taking a look at Teiluj and nodding if/when she decided to peek at him. Glancing back at Dem as she continued to set her expectations, as expected, he smirked at the comment of navigation and Svadra turning toward him. " Having grown up in the woods, I'm quite adapt at survivalism and nature. While I may not be familiar with the lands, all I need is a heading and I'm sure we can get there just fine." He finished as he crossed his arms and nodded once. He was excited to test such skills, and if Teiluj wasn't a total flight risk, maybe she'd learn a few things from him.

Dem 5 She smiled at her friend when she spoke to the other two, though there was a soft expression she gave when Tei promised she'd be no trouble. "Don't worry about that. You are no trouble at all." Dem once more gave reassurance to Teiluj with her words. When Svadra said that they were in luck that Crocus had decided to join them she looked at the shorter hybrid. With a look of appreciation she nodded at him. "I would owe you if you could teach her a few things." She was determined to help Tei gain some confidence and skills to help her out. Even just basic knowledge was better than nothing. "Did you want to learn anything else Teiluj? Its a long trip and your escorts are bound to get bored." She looked at her friend with an approving smile to hopefully encourage her to speak up if she was interested in something.

Post 5 Teiluj's antenna's twitched as her name was mentioned. Hands still scratching under her Radaku's muzzle, golden eyes shifting from one speaker to the next as they each took a turn in voicing what they had to say. It was welcoming to see how eagerly the hybrid was to teach her the very skills she would need. They hybrids gaze shifted back to Dem. "Well I m-may be alot of trouble. I may end up asking alot of questions about the flora and fauna along the way. Especially if some of the herbs and plants can make good spices for cooking. I'm an excellent cook." Teiluj muttered uncomfortably. Tao gave a large yawn, flicking his tail from side to side. Teiluj patted her companion tenderly, her muscles flexing with each motion while she mounted the creature. "Could we visit a few stalls before leaving, I would assume we need some supplies. Possibly some cloth for Tao's feet so they don't burn in the hot sun. He is a very dear companion to me." Blushing, Teiluj's gaze dropped to the ground. Her shoulders sagged nervously. This was the most she had spoken in quite some time. The most enthusiasm she had been able to muster since his disappearance. Part of her felt like she was betraying N'kole by traveling with other male companions. Guilt tugged at her chest. She knew she didn't have an option, if she wanted to move forward in life this was the path she was going to have to take.

He could sense the girl was intimidated and did his best to not come off as over eager or overbearing with attention. When she spoke up again, he raised a brow in question at her self-degradation. It was something he was quite unfamiliar with both in Oba and in the Alkidike lands. This girl was nearly shivering like a leaf, trying to hide behind her little pet. He resisted the urge to sigh, glancing over to his companion as if to tell him to keep it cool.
"We need not leave yet." He replied easily with a shrug, turning back, "As long as you are comfortable carrying what you buy, be our guest."
He turned a questioning gaze toward Dem, as if asking if she was always like this or it was a nervous tick around strangers.

[ Crocus 6 ] The bulky lad was not one to take up subtly, and he missed any sort of message from the taller man next to him as he looked closely at Teiluj as she spoke. It was mostly due to her muttering, she was quite a meek thing which made it hard to catch what she said at the end of her sentences. " We'll I for one don't mind warm food on a long trip." He barked out easily at her mention of being a cook. He knew enough to survive, but that meant bland food with whatever they could get. Plus many newcomers mentioned the bugs they ate were a unique taste. Nodding at Svadra's mention of them having time, he glanced about curiously at the market.

She shook her head at Tei as she explained how she may be trouble. "Questions are fine. I'm sure these two could answer them. They look like they know quite a bit." And Dem could just answer any other questions when she got back. She shifted her gaze to the males. "Right?"
The Alk didn't miss the look from Svadra and she could only offer him a polite smile. Her friend was timid, always had been, though it did seem a bit worse at present. When Crocus commented on the food she chuckled. "There you go Teiluj. You can spoil him with good food on the trip." If Tei had something to focus on that was positive it may help her.
"We can check the shops for a map and get something for your familiar before you set out." Dem wanted to make sure that they had everything before they left anyways.

(Post 6) Teiluj brightened as crocus spoke. He seemed welcoming towards the skill she could offer and in a way this seemed to give her a bit of confidence towards the two. Her golden eyes shifted back from Crocus to Dem as she spoke. Feeling a bit of shame and guilt at her own nature. She didn't miss the interaction that had passed between Svadra and Dem. Taking a deep breath in, Teiluj stepped out from behind her Radaku. "I won't really be the one carrying it. Not entirely. My kinfa, Starline, is trained to carry supplies for me. She's waiting just beyond the bustle of this place." Teiluj mentioned somewhat off-handedly as if it were common place for such an occurrence. "Yes a map." Teiluj replied a bit more confidentiality. Eager to secure proper ingredients to showcase her own usefulness for the journey. Her eyes flicked towards Tao. Muttering some direction to the beast, the young hybrid watched as Tao turned, taking off into the tree line and out of site. "He's going to wait with Starling." Shyly reaching up to rub her upper arm nervously. "I'm ready to do some shopping if you are."

He nodded at Dem's comment, not really seeing a need to continue the discussion. This was more conversation than Svadra had, mostly because this was work instead of play. He did glance at Crocus, ready to step in just in case his socially lacking friend might have said something inappropriate. Thankfully, that wasn't the case.
With the heat building from the lack of movement, the tall male pulled out his fan, snapping it lightly before waving it on as he cooled his face off.
A kinfa as well? This was quite the party, something Svadra hoped would only benefit them instead of slow them down. Used to going without such creatures, he packed light and had no desire to stress about more than he needed.
"Lead the way." He responded to Tei, snapping his fan shut and waving it to accent his point.

[ Crocus 7 ] His grin was bright, almost predatory at the offer of a meal, and he found himself quite excited at the additional part of this journey. Not only would he get a chance to see a new part of the world, but he'd be traveling in a luxury he normally did not partake. He ignored Svadra's standoffishness, nodding eagerly at Dem's question with no sense of stress. " We're all set, so go ahead and shop away." He added, wondering if Dem might want to pull them aside for a more direct conversation - it wasn't unexpected she might stress a few things with how protective she was.

In truth Dem had forgotten about Teiluj's kinda, so when it was mentioned she looked confused for a second before recognition flittered across her face. As Toa was sent off she watched the beast disappear before she looked at Teiluj with a smile. "We can get whatever you think you need. I have plenty of coin so don't worry about that."
She glanced at Crocus for a second then looked at Svadra as he fanned himself. "Did either of you need anything? If you do I can get it as payment for the added assignment. " Since V'demhe wanted them to help Teiluj with a new skill on top of taking her to Oba she figured she could get them something from the shops.

((Post 7 - Total RP Completion for 5 points)) Teiluj's antenna vibrated with mixed emotions. She was eager now to travel with these two, seeing as she could not showcase a skill in return. She was also guilt wrecked about Dem's money being used in the process. She would have to make mental note in the future that she would need to pay her back for all the work she had put into organizing this to help her. "Oh!" A sudden realization dawned on her. Reaching into the pack on her hip Teiluj ruffled around it contents till her hands wrapped around a small vial. "Dem I know it's not much, but would this help with some compensation towards the funds? I can always collect more." Teiluj produced a small vial of pure Nondwa dust. Holding the vial out to her friend Teiluj looked towards the two male hybrids. Waiting for them to mention if there was anything that they would need as well. "Do you have any allergies or certain things you like or dislike?"
