Godiva nodded when he waved his hand and then waited for a moment as he responded about having woke up here. She seemed curious and thoughtful, "I wonder if a cat could explain it?" She ventured thinking of possible ways to figure out what happened.
Granted cats were sometimes hard to find in her experience, and she paused when he questioned if it was a dumb question. "I guess it's not. When you can't find an answer. Surely there's one somewhere."
She was debating on options on who to ask that question to because it seemed it was maybe slightly more important than she first thought. "I wonder if the energy is -- it's own being."
She hadn't thought about or asked these questions before and it seemed -- odd to not have thought about it. "Maybe if it's the energy is it's own being - maybe it needs all of us here for something?"
She paused, "But the negaverse isn't large enough to be that big of a threat is it - to pull folks from their homeworld?" Granted it did take her brother, and it convinced her sister and she's - well she was going to go willingly to keep tabs on her twin, so maybe it was more dangerous than first thought?
She looked puzzled, "I've heard of people going to the moon." She also added though she herself never tried it. "Maybe the moon has answers if no one here does?"

Vilenius squinted his eyes but shrugged. He didn’t know if a cat could explain it any more than he knew if someone on the Moon could. He’d been so focused on survival, so focused on moving forward that he wasn’t even sure if he’d really stopped to think about what happened. Or why.
It left a bitter taste in his mouth.
She seemed to have a lot of hypotheses about it but she seemed more invested in the answers than he was.
He was too angry to think about it with an open mind, anyway.
“Seems like a lot of work. I don’t know. I don’t care. You have a problem with Chaos and I will help you while I can. I can’t believe it’s spread so badly here. Your world will wind up as dead as mine if you can’t stop it.”

Godiva paused as he said that seemed like a lot of work and he didn't care. She paused, "Well yeah I know there's a problem with Chaos they've taken my brother and twin sister."
She said with a sigh, he was speaking how badly it spread and how the world would end up dead. "I don't really know how we're going to stop it, not when it does whatever this is. Not to mention, my sister's promised me to go over, or they take me by force when they have the chance."
There was a pause, "My understanding if I go willing, I get to keep some memories -- if not it's a full mind wipe. If they can do that, taking us by force that is - I really don't know how to stop something like that. It's not like we can take people back by force."
She seemed look thoughtful, "If we could, I'd organize a rescue for my siblings. But otherwise to see them again and not have to fight them; I'd have to join them. . . "
She stood up figuring it was about time to take her leave, because if he didn't like chaos that much - she had a feeling he might would take off anyways.

Vilenius stared at her for a moment before his nose wrinkled and his face twisted into a scowl. “You want to join them? No, you should fight for them. Only give in if they catch you.”
It seemed like common sense to him, but then, he didn’t really seem like he was approaching anything like someone with a life experienced on Earth might. “You can always lie if they catch you. What can Chaos give you? It will take from you as soon as you give in. All, or some of your memories? You lose no matter what. What is stopping you from organizing a rescue for them?”
He didn’t ask just out of curiosity; there was something to be learned here. She had helped him, and maybe a part of him felt like he should be indebted to her. He was just going to be sour about it. To help her siblings would be repaying a debt, and combating Chaos would be scratching an itch with no relief.

Godiva looked at Vilenius curiously as he spoke, she wasn't sure what she expected but this wasn't it. "Do I want to? Not really. I feel like I don't have much of a choice though, with two of my five siblings already taken. If I can go willingly I can keep some memories though."
Maybe she should make them catch her, but she'd still have to be willing to go over in order to keep memories in tact. But he was right, it didn't mean she had to go easy. She seemed to ponder on the thought, she was trying to craft the best way to save her sister and brother - not to mention herself if she could. Maybe giving the negaverse a good ol' chase would help??
"What's stopping me is I don't think we can force them to come back to the light." She answered looking towards Vilenius, "I could be wrong but I haven't heard of a forceful purify. You have to be willing. Unless you know of something that well, we don't have access to. I know they can forcefully corrupt, but can we forcefully purify??"

Vilenius’ nose wrinkled and his brow furrowed. He didn’t have an answer for that. Honestly, he was very far out of his realm here on Earth. Even on his own world, he hadn’t known everything, but here it seemed like the foundation of his knowledge had been shattered and put back together upside down.
He didn’t understand. It wasn’t just that he was old; he was no wiser than them. He’d been trapped for so long that maybe even common sense didn’t seem so simple.
Running into the arms of Chaos didn’t make any sense to him, but maybe he’d just forgotten what it was like to care about someone so much that you would choose to sacrifice everything for them.
Or, most of everything.
“Maybe you should try that, first. I have no fondness for Chaos. You have been generous tonight. Kind.” He spoke the words like they were foreign on his tongue, almost even painful. He didn’t look at her. “I would be unhappy if we met again as enemies.”

Godiva frowned as Vilenius spoke. She didn't want to make someone else sad but she was trying to figure out a better way. "I can at least give them a run for their money, but I feel like I'm just biding my time at this point since they've already gotten my twin and our older brother."
She looked at him, "Perhaps if we ever do meet and I'm on the enemy side you can try to help me find a way back with the rest of my family." She paused, "Of course I'll try and see if I can find information - maybe on forceful purification. I don't know who I'd ask though."
They were all so limited on knowledge. She sighed softly, "It was nice to meet you Vilenius, I hope to meet you again." She added as she was trying not to look conflicted with the thoughts he'd given her.
"I should probably go and see if I can actually get any more information. Maybe a cat could help."

Vilenius watched her for a moment longer, maybe soaking up the full gravity of her words and plans. He didn’t understand them. He didn’t understand a lot, these days. This world operated in a way so differently than his own had, but then–
Earth was still alive and thriving and Vilenius was…
Not.
So, maybe there was something to be said of that.
He grunted in response. Maybe a cat could talk some sense into her.
“Thanks,” he finally grumbled, and rubbed at his arm. It didn’t hurt, not like it had before she’d used her magic.
“I’ll keep an eye out for you.”
He didn’t wait for a response; she intended to depart, so he would do the same. He’d been out for long enough tonight, anyway. Besides, she’d given him plenty to think about.
