He nodded his head "I think it's better for your well-being if you did take your time" he said. The poor girl was putting too much pressure on herself to figure out her career right at this moment in time. He gave her a snuggle "Just enjoy life for the time being and in between find out what you are interested in and what you are passionate about. Don't feel obligated to follow in mine, your mother's or your grandparents' footsteps in careers" he informed her.

"I have another question though, completely unrelated to my career choice; can I have a pet Zanteer?" she asked him looking at him with her big puppy eyes. "I promise I will take care of it and it won't cause too much trouble for you" she said. She was hopeful that they had the space to accommodate her pet Zanteer if they said yes to it.

He let out a chuckle at her second question "I'm sure, we have the space to accommodate a zanteer" he told her hopefully Akea and their grandparents wouldn't mind a zanteer roaming around their property. In any case, he was certain Akea wouldn't mind it cause it would give an extra safety measure for the garden and their family.

She nodded her head at what her father had told her he had made valid points, she wasn't entirely sure why she was in such a rush to grow up. Perhaps, it was because she would have more freedom or perhaps it was just because she wanted to switch it up. She gave her dad a big hug and a smile "I appreciate the advice, I will do my research and see what I would like to do" she told him before jumping off the bench and looking at him "I love you Daddy!" she said before running off to start her research.

He smiled at her as she gave him a hug "your very welcome, Your mother and I will always be here when you need it" he said to her before returning the hug. He watched her jump off the bench "I love you too, sweetheart" he said to her as he watched her run off to start her research. He was glad though and it gave him peace of mind that the girls still went to them for advice.
