"That is true, the sea is a fickle mistress. Too bad I don't have enough training yet to use the magic that might have helped get us back home instead of here but any port in a storm as they say." He paused and brought out a few damp sandwhiches. "I forgot I brought these, here." He handed her two and ate the last one himself. Food made everything better.

She smiled gratefully at the unexpected food. "This will do me for a while," she handed him back half a soggy sandwhich. "Here, it will help bring your energy back, and help keep you warm. Digestion is hard work." That and she didn't eat all that much in comparison to a boy, unless she was actively dancing which she hadn't been for a bit. She had caught a cold that had laid her out flat for a week. It had been unpleasant but the rest had been needed.

He accepted the half back and ate vehemently. It took a lot of energy to run an active body and he had worked extremely hard to get here alive. He scooted closer to the fire after and let his eyes close.
"Hopefully the storm will clear up soon but for now it might be best to rest." He advised sagely. They had food..they had too much water outside and a dry place to be. They peeled their wet clothes off and hung them over the fire to dry.

"Hopefully," glancing outside, she didn't think that was going to happen anytime soon. It was still blowing and thundering and carrying on. "Somehow I don't think this will let up anytime soon."
She thought they would be here for a while, but they were not too far from the mainland and they still had their oars. "I hope the boat survives though."

From the sounds outside, he didn't think either. They would be okay for a while, fire was huge and so was the scraps of food they had had. It would last them for a while, plus their family would likely find them so long as they could see the boat. They had pulled it up as far as he could.
