Raff laughed and jumped in place. "Make the treasure stealers stinky!" It was perfect! Now she was eager to find the false treasures to see if there were any treasure stealers around.
She stopped short at mention of their mothers searching for their treasure and frowned. "I.. don't think we're good enough yet to hide stuff from them. Maybe we should keep it to ourselves then?" She would be devastated if either parent were to seek out a test of their skills and end up covered in stinky feathers! "Oh, but I bet they're smart enough to avoid the trap if they do find it! We could just warn them there's a trap, too."

Zoicite chuckled as his sister bounced with ideas. "Well maybe we could set it up first and if we need more we can ask for their help?" He suggested after a moment, his fingers digging through the cool waters and pausing as he started to scratch at something he found buried within the sand. What was this? Another fancy shell or pebble? It was fairly stuck, but Zoicite kept working at it while speaking with Raff. "I would at least like to try to figure it out on my own first though and then maybe we could challenge them to find it and give us pointers after. Like a test or something!" He did that when he studied with Nanami, he would do his best to put together a puzzle or solve something first before having her review. So why not do that with their hidden treasure and the trap? Not that he wanted their mothers to accidentally get covered with feathers so maybe they could do a trial version with just something less...stinky and sticky first?

Raff considered for a moment and then nodded. "Okay. We'll find a spot, set up the fake treasures and the trap, and then if it lasts for a while we can ask for them to test it!" Raffrdeigh wasn't the best when it came to planning things, but that was what Zoicite was for! It was exciting to have this little plot of theirs all laid out step by step. She started to walk toward the wall of rock, but paused to see what Zoicite was so busy with. "What'd you find? Is it more fake treasure?"

"Sounds good to me!" Zoicite grinned, happy that his sister was willing to go along with his plan. He did so love devising ideas, even if they could sometimes be considered reckless (like climbing cliffs and starting traps for hidden treasures) overall the plans usually worked out in the end. "I'm not certain." His lips pursed thoughtfully as he dug at the thing some more until pop! a hermit crab emerged from the sands and wiggled in Zoicite's hands, the little claws pinching him. "Oh." The boy blinked in surprise before playfully holding it out towards Raff. "Think that counts as a treasure guardian?" The crab seemingly disagreed, its little pinchers clipping in protest before Zoicite slowly lowered it back towards the sand.

Rafferdeigh leaned closer to see what the big reveal was going to be... and let out a shriek of surprise that was quickly followed by a laugh. "Aww, poor thing! I bet thieves would definitely run if a crab was dropped on their head." It was actually a grand idea for protecting their treasures; but perhaps a little too grand? "We can etch crabs onto the walls to ask for their protection! I would feel bad trying to keep one trapped there." She leaned forward again to watch the crab scurry away and giggled. "Let's go find a treasure cave!"
