“That’s fine.” If the animal was smaller than her then she could deal with it. “You have to train it to be nice though.” She insisted on that too. There was no way Ryshanion could handle a mean beast. Or one that didn’t listen. It would likely get her into trouble somehow if it did whatever it wanted.

“Of course I’ll train it to be nice.” He snorted at her and reached up to bop her on the nose. “I can’t have it being mean to you.” What kind of big brother would he be then? “Any preference on color?” He was curious what her ideal beast was now.

“Hm.. not really.” She wasn’t picky. Of course she also didn’t know what colors the beasts came in. Or patterns. The ones her brother had were so different that she couldn’t pin down a main type. “Maybe a rare color so everyone knows its mine?” That way no one could try to steal it and said it was theirs.

“Rare color huh?” He laughed at that. “We might be able to do that.” With the many markets he planned on stopping at along their little trip he was sure they could find something. If not then he could always contact a breeder with a special request. There were plenty of options honestly.

“Okay.” She seemed content with that and settled into silence as she watched the people go past. Her eyes quickly located the animal pens and as they got closer she seemed to be looking them over for a color she liked, though the girl remained silent the entire time.
