He scoffed at her before swatting her hands away from him. “Yeah yeah.” At least he’d avoided the cheek pinching. Ujiri kept his eyes on her as he leaned back, suspicious of what she might do next. “So you’re really just going to go visit Eurig and then come back?” He had to make sure. He wanted her to promise it.

She nodded at him. “Yes. I told Mama earlier. She’s alright with it. She’d like me to send her something from Tale.” Subira knew it was mostly as proof of where she was, though it hadn’t been openly stated as such. “Do you have any ideas of what she’d like? Maybe a favorite snack from there?” Subira was curious to know if Eurig sent her something on the regular.

Knowing that his sister had told Ariya that she was going to be traveling eased some of his worries. It meant that it wasn’t like the last time when she’d just vanished. “Hmm. I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. Ask Eurig when you see him.” He shrugged his shoulders slightly.

“Alright.” That just meant it would give her mother to talk about with her other sibling. Subira might have been a little worried they would have nothing to say. After all, her relationship with Ujiri and Ika was strained now so she could only imagine what it would be like with Eurig. “Did you want me to bring you back something?” Since she was getting something for their mama she might as well ask.

“Yeah. There is a snack there that I like.” He nodded his head. While he might not remember what their brother sent their mother’s, he definitely remembered what he got sent. So he described his favorite Tale snack in as much detail as he could for Subira. “If you can’t find it.. Ask Euirg, He’ll know what I’m talking about.”
