“Your most welcome” she told him with a smile “ everyone needs a good friend or two to make their lives fun” she said before taking another sip of her tea “thank you” she replied as he offered her some scones.
She swirled her tea around thoughtfully a bit before answering “I could say the same for you” she answered. She didn’t know much about him either and since she was here already she might have to take advantage of it.
“To be honest i have several siblings that i am aware of but have not interacted with very much, and if they got married or had kids i don’t know that either” she explained. Before moving her mug to her lap “you see my familia relationships are very…complicated and strained..”

"Isn't that just the truth!" Ky patted her arm companionably. "I have the opposite problem, I lost both of my parents when I was very young and have been somewhat independant since with some help when I was small from the community." He swirled his tea around. "I have no blood relatives that I am aware of."
"I have been gardening since I was small but I was recently able to buy this place and do a lot more with the land here. Its growing steadily."

Nodded her head attentively as he spoke about is family and frowned a bit when he said he had lost his parents when he was young “my family is just a combo of step siblings and mistresses” she said.
She swirled her tea around once again “ i mean its nice to have siblings but when there are others invovled it gets quite complicated and not everyone in either blood related or half siblings have a good relationship with the others”.
She tilted her head to the side “ahh i see, at least it was something you were able to achieve with lots of dedication and commitment” she told him before looking at him for a second “i envy you.”

“You can achieve anything you put your mind to the secret is not giving up which means it has to be something you really want.”
“That does sound complicated, my life though very lonely is relatively peaceful.” He liked peace and quiet and green. There was always something new in the garden to discover every day.

She nodded her head that was some very deep advice. “You are right about that” she told him before lifting her mug to her lips and taking another drink of her tea.
She frowned a bit realizing that she would have to leave but she was enjoying his company, she shrugged off the poofy blanket and walked to the window to check if the rain had stopped yet.
