“There is a lot going on, more than even we both know.” This went beyond his knowledge and what his court knew, he was certain of this, but he doubted any Negaverse agent knew everything either. As for order….he was sure they were in the same boat. Everyone was fighting each other because it was fight to live or be killed…or don’t power up at all and perhaps be some civilian caught in the cross fire. No option was exactly good or safe.
“Mirror…I’m not the best when it comes to what we are but I believe we are senshi…but our starseed is different, coated in something. We can move between mirrors provided we know the location of where we’re going. We serve chaos but not the same chaos.” Which meant they went about things differently as well, it also kept them mostly safe from both sides of the war.
Taking the others hand, as it had moved away from his at some point, he held onto it for the others sake. “We met a few weeks back late at night. I was….making an escape from some people. While cutting through the park, to lose them, I found him passed out and decided it wasn’t very safe. It makes for easy prey, which you should know.” The last part directed at Aloysius. “I didn’t want to see you hurt be my side or your own.” Not that he’d known the other was a member of the Negaverse at the time.
“I woke him and up and helped him home. The next day he had me help him clean things out…”

Melody nodded at them and watched her brother closely with a judging glare. She would normally scold him about being drunk but now she was having a few second thoughts about it. If anything alcoholics were why she was so distrustful of people in general. “This is definitely more than they briefed me on. I think I will go ahead and speak with someone else. I honestly also do not want to be trained by you but that’s because you’re right about our methods being different. You always try to talk your way out of things. I guess if it works for you then maybe I can find someone who is more in line with my way of things.” She waved him away sort of at that. She wouldn't need his help but teaming up with others would be a good idea. “I think working together would be a good idea with you though Liam. Or anyone else that isn’t my brother for now.” She smiled a bit at the man next to Aloy, wondering if they were dating or going to be dating. It really took a lot to deal with Aloy and she never figured he would find someone to put up with him. “It is good that you gave up drinking though, I never figured you had it in you. You took so much after dad I thought it would end the same way.”
Aloysius was comforted by the other’s hand much like when Benitoite had combed through his bangs. It was just something he hadn’t had the luxury of before but was something he felt he wanted more of now that he was trying to work through the past. The hand that held his own was pulling him out of the muck of nightmares an inch at a time and he hoped that they would be there even after he was able to escape the past. He tensed at the mention of his father again, a bit of anger flashing across his eyes. “I am nothing like that monster. You could never begin to understand what he did after you left with our mother.” Even though his face looked sterner, there was a slight trembling in his hands. Many of the oldest scars came from that long-since-dead thing he called his father, the worst of which were the ones on his throat. “I think this is a good time for you to leave though Mel, I will text you some information about who I would recommend you speak with and I am sure Liam can provide some from the Mirror court as well.” He nodded to him letting his eyes relay the message of his distress at her words even more. He could explain and would explain when prompted but Melody did not need to know more.

“That’s fine, we can work together. If, for some reason, if you want I’ll try and introduce you to other dark mirror senshi. I’m not close to a lot of them but there are some I am close with and others I know.” Because he knew them didn’t mean he was close to them, he did tend to keep to a smaller group within his court, but he knew he could call on others if he ever needed it. He could find others who might also help her, if she wanted, but he did wonder what sort of Negaverse officer she’d run into or be introduced to. Some of them were pretty violent he’d heard.
“Expect a text from me and we can arrange a meeting if you want to collect energy together.” Taking from Aloysius’ words he wouldn’t continue things further but he’d offer his help. He assumed, hopefully correctly, that Aloysuis had his sister's phone number. He knew his senshi compact wouldn’t connect to hers so the normal, civilian, way would have to do.
A look to Aloysius was curious, and concerned even, as he got up to help the others sister to the door. He’d check with Aloysuis once he’d helped Melody out, he doubted either were fans of rudeness, so he’d try and be a bit more polite than was typical for him.

Melody took the hint and got up from her seat. “Keep in touch, both of you. I’ll talk with you both again via text or call.” She frowned back at her brother before smiling at Liam and making her way out. “Polite and chivalrous, I like that.” She made her way back out into the night to continue her patrol, letting the door shut behind her.
