She nodded her head vigorously agreeing with her sister “we like hanging out with you, don’t make us” she said whining a bit. Despite how tired she was she liked hanging out with their parents. She looked up at her parents with her puppy dog eyes, in hopes they would let them stay up.

"I'm afraid if you want energy and to have a good day tomorrow, that you will need to get a good nights sleep tonight." She knew that was the best way to prevent meltdowns for example. Little bodies couldn't take the same stresses as an adults could.
"Its okay girls we all need our beauty rest, don't we Dad?" She nuzzled Aki. Who was ever so handsome always.

Vaia 5 Part of her was sad to go to bed and the other part was yawning and wishing for her soft pillow cushioned under her cheek in the most comfortable way possible. "Ugh, if we have to." She looked defeated and dejected for the record. She wanted to stay up with them, what extreme extra time adults seemed to have during a day, but perhaps, yawn, that was why they were so stressed all the time, not enough naps..,..

Akiliano snuggled both of his girls, "I'm afraid your mother is right, if you want to have more fun tomorrow you need to go to bed" he told them. "We can do it again tomorrow, or we can just dedicate a day to family time on another day" he said thoughtfully to his girls "I need to have an important discussion with your mother" finished.

Auali'i frowned a bit but had to agree with both her parents, she stretched and stood up before taking Vaia's hand "Mom and dad are right we do need to get some sleep, so we can have another fun-filled day tomorrow" she said. She then looked at her father at his suggestion of having one day just for family time "I think that is a good idea" she said before lightly tugging Vaia to her feet.

She smiled adoringly at Akiliano, he was such a good Dad, as she knew he would be. Kind, thoughtful, clearly communicating and in need of much spoiling which she was only too willing to give him.
"Good night girls," she kissed each on the forehead and gave them both a hug.
"Dream good dreams."

Vaia 6 She went limp for a bit then decided she would help her sister lift her up. Then she peered suspiciously at her dad. She was aching to know what they needed to talk about without the girls there. Hmmm. "Goodnight Mama and Papa." She hugged them both before taking her sisters hand again. She loved her family so much and particularly her sister who looked so much like her. She knew that no matter what she was loved.

Aki chuckled lightly as Vaia gave him a look of suspicion before snuggling the girls tightly "Good night girls" he said with a smile. It was something He and Akea didn't officially do yet, and he figured it was time to bring it up. Marriage was something he was also thinking about with Akea, but the girls came before he could ask her.

She leaned towards Vaia "I'm sure, whatever it is Dad needs to talk to Mom about he will let us know afterwards" she said before walking to their room with her sister in tow. She too was curious about what their dad needed to talk to their mom about, she tapped her chin with a finger from her free hand as she tried to unravel what it was. They would need to wait until the next day to find out eventually.

Akea eyed Akiliano with a twinkle in her eye. What was he going to talk about? She was nothing if not curious and her eyes sparkled with mischeif as she looked at him.
"Mysteries never cease." She murmured and waggled her eyebrows at him.
"Sweet dreams girls!" After they had gone down the hall she turned to Aki.
"What was it you wanted to talk about my love?" she was eager to know. Though she had not a clue about what was to come.

She crawled into bed and sighed gratefully. It did feel good to be on a soft horizontal mattress. She wrapped the uber soft comforter filled with feathers around herself and waited for her sister to join her so she could relax and fall asleep like footsteps on clouds. She liked to use comforting images to woo herself to sleep.
"Night sis." She yawned and rolled over. Soon enough a very faint snore could be heard.

Once the girls had settled down he looked over at Akea, taking both of her hands in his "I was planning on asking you, this before the girls arrived but they arrived before I could" he said before taking a breath "Would you do me the honour of making me the happiest man alive and be my forever?" he asked her.

Auali'i crawled into the bed beside her sister before snuggling into the soft comforter and pulling the covers up to her neck. It was soft and comfy and they were small enough that the two of them could fit into the bed. "Good night; Sis" she said in return before falling asleep within a few seconds.

She may or may not have screamed quietly. Trying not to disturb the girls but also dealing with the most excitement since they had been born. She flung herself at Aki and said yes over and over again into his ear. It had been so unexpected but such a great surprise.
"I want to be with you forever."
