There was a wince for that, a brief thing that flitted over his features before he was calling beckoning Cerbs down from his lofty perch; well groomed n bouncing in ruffles of plumes where he landed n bobbed some wriggly birddy greetings.

It was the idea that Fulgurite had never known his star origins-- <********> -- didn't even know now what his Senshi name was. No ties to a star, or a moon, or some distant exoplanet. Whose fault was that exactly, at this point, if not his own? Albite felt remiss in his actions all over again, that creeping edge of failing in hindsight. Like somehow in bothering Fulgurite with nothing but blighted fluff n lighter things, with letting him skimp out on his quota in the name of comfort after all his years of serving (longer n Albite had, he knew) that he'd missed out on conversations he'd aught to have had with the man long before he considered pushing for info that would get the Springs Senshi promoted.

Some people didn't want an origin, though, he knew it wasn't Kama's thing, n for what little Albite knew of Praxidike? He'd chosen the mineral. Preferred it, even, above all else. The thing that tied him right here to his roots on Earth; to Faustite, to Metallia. To his mother and sisters back home.

The point was that he'd had the choice at all; to choose or reject that knowledge at will, or to embrace it for what it was....

It'd taken him *time* to get his head out of his own a** and then around it, what with his disinclination towards cats after Bob, but once he had?

"Hey, their not all Firebrand's husband-harem! Some'vem are Jada's jewels, n there's a whole mess of beneficial friends, and people who just hold hands, n a book club, aah......" and Fulgurite probably wasn't being literal, was he? So Waru shook his head and laughed, because he got it now. He wasn't sure he'd bothered Sylvi about it before, probably not, he was happy enough to go ice skating and drink hot caocao to ever press for anything that wasn't soft, warm, pink, sunshine.

He smiled n scooped up cerbs, hefty, gangly thing. Readied himself to go home, but not before -- "The first thing I made Cryolite do after bringing him into the fold? Was send him to the nearest Mau. His powers were finicky because he struggled with the concept, with making a home for it in his head. Training with me toughened him up -- but?" he shrugged and got a facefull of curious beaks for his efforts, it was only a little bit of struggling to shove those nosey noses out of his way.

"If you ever do want? Tama's seasoned, smart, s'good with twitchy star-beings. My sweet little Hayby's got the energy of ten-thousand suns. M'recommending a team cat cause their the least likely to ******** with you about anything, but you do with that what you will. S'your choice."

With how heated he'd come in, wired tight and pensive; he left cooled, not so much as a 'goodbye', or a 'be safe'. Just a final once over before he was stepping into the void and back home. He had so much to finish cleaning, a bird to feed. He needed a ******** nap to mitigate the migraine he was going to end up giving to himself.

He didn't want to bother Fulgurite anytime soon, not unless it was dire straights n absolutely necessary. If the man needed anything he could come knocking all on his own.
