Nemia looked at Ilistoh closely, not quite sure if she was convinced by his answer or not. He didn't really fit the part of someone who spent time in a park people watching, at least in her mind. A park to her meant idleness, but if he did truly wish to go she could show him to a park. Whether or not he had fun would be up to him at that point.
"A park? I know of some. If that is what is catching your interest I suppose I could show you the way to one if you cared to follow me still." She flicked her wrist as she motioned around the two of them. "Though if idle relaxation is your desire then fine."

Ilistoh checked his pouch to make sure someone hadn't stolen it away while he had been distracted, then stood and brushed off his clothes. Now that he wasn't hunched over a bowl in the corner, he felt kind of underdressed. He hadn't considered disguising himself as a local when he traveled, but now that he was experiencing the distraction of standing out, he had to admit it was something to think about. "Idle relaxation. I guess so. When I really get into observing my surroundings, I'm working on the inside. Gathering stories," he tapped the side of his head with a smirk, "right here. It's even more work when someone's telling me a story too. Trying to commit what they're saying to memory while they're still talking is like getting tossed around by capramel."

"How intriguing. You are doing your own research in a way then. Keeping these stories in order to speak with more on their experiences? Or to convince them to purchase your wares?" Nemia questioned, curious to learn more about his methods. She found him a bit odd, but more interesting to speak to than most others around. It was pleasant.
"You will tell me what stories you gather based on our conversation? If any?"

"A little bit of the second, maybe? People are more likely to buy when they're happy. But I didn't try buttering them up from the start. Collecting stories came first, just because I enjoy them." He had been expected to stay put as a child, and those tales had made him feel like he'd seen the world. "Yeah, I'll pass on all the stories I gather at the park. Unless you mean you want our story? I could put that together someday, but right now it's barely begun. It would be too boring to bother with. I'll let you know when it's more exciting."

"If we continue this partnership. Friendship? I am not certain if we can call it that yet, though I suppose that is up to you," Nemia rambled, motioning between the two of them. "Anyways, if it continues I would like to hear what you put together about our interactions withing reason." She wondered what the story would be like, a merchant and an inventor. Something intriguing for the ages, though she would like to have more creations in her arsenal before the story is shared along. "So for now I suppose the park stories would be interesting. Or any others you've heard. We may continue to walk and discuss, yes?" She stated, leading Ilistoh on to find whatever she thought would be intriguing at the park.

Ilistoh chuckled, holding back a full laugh in case it sounded derisive. Nemia was an odd one—so serious—but he liked that she seemed incapable of standing down. He appreciated a challenging audience. "It's settled. If our partnership progresses beyond today, I'll add our story to my collection. Just the interesting parts." He nodded in response to her question, demurely clasping his hands behind his back as he followed her toward the park.
