As they walked she found a small, round rock to kick along, making sure to try and keep it straight so as to not push it off the path. "Oh. Would you like to see if they have any sweets available at the market? Those are a nice reward for a job well done." And since this sister had been training before Calixa arrived then surely she needed something to say 'good job.'

"Unless you like salty? Or sour? I've never been big on sour." Some foods just had that taste and it always made Calixa avoid them. "What do you like?" She'd been so excited thinking they found someone's picnic and yet she hadn't asked if the other liked snack foods or proper meals.

"Something sweet. Got it." She half sang her response as she gave one last kick to the rock. She watched as he bounced along in front of them then was lost in the grass off the path. Calixa didn't seem too upset by it.

Instead she turned her attention to Ahmanet when she said she didn't play with flavors. "What? Oh no.. I can fix that." She nodded her head with a large smile. "So my mother makes this really nice paste that goes well with brick bread. The seasoning in it is super yummy." She ticked off one finger as she spoke. "I can write my sister and have her send something from the mainland if you want. I think she's traveling." Another finger was checked. "Oh! And Tevla, the old lady at the market, she makes this really tasty vegetable sauce to go over cooked meat." Her excitement about sharing different tasting food was practically bubbling out.
