She grinned brightly, throughout their dating Aki had been the ultimate perfect gentleman. He made her feel so safe and happy that she felt like she could do anything and go anywhere so long as he was with her she would be okay. And what he couldn't handle her Dad's could.

This gave her a bit of confidence and a ton of love for her sweet Aki. When they were apart which was not all that often she could just look down and see her necklace, one of the two stones they had exchanged ages ago, and she did not feel alone, knowing that the other stone hung over his heart.

"Oh yes my love, we shall." Time to shoo her twittering parents out to go have their own date...somewhere...like town maybe.

They arrived at the house and she reached a hand out to open the door trying to work out exactly how she would make the suggestion to her parents that they should vacate the premises for a bit.
