He helped his mate sort and load it on the wagon they had had to rent. "You don't think we went...just a little bit overboard did we?" He asked calmly of his mate, hidden by the mountain of stuff.
"Akea better come home and help you eat this, I want to keep my figure. Bring Aki too."
All of that food was just going to stare at him, and Ikaika would be rounded but not from eating. Kaiko did not wanted to be rounded just yet thanks though.
He had worked out hard and wanted to bask in that hard work now. The hot dad bod.

He popped up having found a snack, "It will not last that long, might not even make the trip home if I get going like I want to. Best to get it home though."
He shoved the last bit of sweet bun in his face. He loved market day. It was just so fresh.
"Where is the meat is it safe? Look at all the meat eating critters here, can't be too careful I've seen janarim take whole half cows."

He put most of the stuff up in the cart. "Well if you eat more now, it will be light for me!"
"And really a whole half cow? Dang, they are serious. Your meat is safe, always so concerned. It was Akea who used to steal your steaks, I stole the meatloaf." He confessed. Ikaika didn't even like the meatloaf.
"Notice how they no longer disappear?"

"Ahh! Thats who it was! That brat! She always did it right when I got a whole bunch so it took me forever to find out that some were missing to begin with."
She was crafty and usually not thiefly, but she had inherited his love of quhar rib eye and it was an incurable obsession. He was lucky that Kaiko only stole the meatloaf which was good occassionaly. Not like the steak which he would eat every third day if there were enough quhar butchered. He made good mulah to be able to do that. It was delish and he would go to the next life happy. Salad was just tree tears.

"Yup!" He was happy. It wasn't every day he got to rat his daughter out. And with her being gone Ikaika couldn't get all that mad, not they he would have to begin with. Akea was playful with them and he adored it.
"You would have given her those steaks you great big softie. We both know it, no pulling the kelp over my eyes, no siree."
He finished loading the cart. "Off home to unload and eat all the things!"
