Washulove He wants to keep concentrating on the temp and rhythm. He doesn't get stoned before shows and he doesn't drink heavily before shows because he doesn't want his skills to be altered by drugs. Have you noticed that he is the only one who doesn't use drugs? There's gotta be one sane one, you know? The one who translates the other three's crazy talk, right? Rrright! xd

Wow...me and my friend had the same conversation... eek
We think he does seem a little out of place...Especially because his name is so...common. xD
But, we have to admire him...because, I agree with Washu, without John, who would translate the other three?! gonk
(What I said Reminds me of my friend. She listened to Violent Pornography and Sugar, and, she told me that these guys need to lay of the crack pipe. xD)

i dont really like john. hes too...normal. he looks a random guy you'd see on the streets. but hes a kick a** drummer so i guess that makes up for it

I heart heart heart John.But sometimes I do think he's out of place in the band.I've seen 2 pictures of him smile and it looked like it hurt. xp Aw poor baby.

Actually, Serj can't go that high. Daron is the one doing the cartoon squeals.
But anyway, I don't think he's out of place. Watch him in the Sugar video.
Bad a**.
Plus, you need a calmer guy in the band. You can't have all weirdos and spazzes.

xD Me and my friends are ntohing but weird spazzes. im a spaz!! but yeah, someone calm has to be there to... keep things together Precisely. I know from experience. xd But then again, they're all really hard workers. I'd have to say they and Queens of the Stone Age are probably the hardest working bands around. Seriously, to be able to pull two albums in less then a year and make them sound good is amazing.

I don't find he's all that out of place..he just..either..doesn't seem as happy to be there, or he can't go as nuts as the others...cuz..he's the drummer. neutral

silent_nova Actually, Serj can't go that high. someone needs to go listen to "Vicinity of Obscenity." 3nodding John is quite outrageous at times, from what i've read. Serj and Daron sing and act as spokesmen for the group. They do most of the articles individually when not in a group mainly because they sing and play guitar. Basisst and Drummers are usually ignored in some bands, but trust me, Shavo and John are quite out there. It's just that John is regularly quiet compared to Serj and Daron. Trust me, he fits perfectly. I love him. 3nodding
