Wangui continued to help her sister across, before offering a hand to the others who made way after them. As long as she was here, she would ensure no one got hurt.

"But a warm bath does sound delightful."

That was true. Hesperia gave a helpless shrug of her shoulders, smiling abashedly. So far, in this pilgrimage, she'd come to learn that while she enjoyed experiencing new places, she hated traveling to them. At her most fanciful, she imagined how nice it would be if they could travel through the roots of the mother trees, and visit their Aishan cousins that way instead.

"A bath..." Hesperia sighed, wistfully, flicking some mud off of her arm. "Wangui, when we get home remind me I never want to travel again, okay?"

She laughed at the comment, nodding as they walked on. It was quite the adventure, and she was sure that Hesperia would change her mind tomorrow, when they were clean and seeing some other sight on their way to the great tree Aisha.
