So did that mean it was a common family trait? Briefly she wondered how she and her siblings would look if they had inherited an ombre style hair color. With a refill on her tea she sat and sipped at it, slowly warming back up. Her eyes watched him the entire time, however, watching as he packed things up.
When he came back over she leaned to the side to pour out the rest of the tea she had left. Kina didn't want to risk spilling it on herself. "Did you want your shirt back?" She moved so that she could take his shirt off her shoulders and offer it back to him. Of course that meant she was a bit cooler than before and she leaned forward a little so she could hide her chest some.

"Thank you." He put his shirt back on, not minding the dampness that much. Before he picked her up and they got underway. "You will just have to direct me." He assumed that they were relatively close if home was where she had been heading when she had been accosted. "It was brave of you to take that arse over the cliff. You are a warrior through and through."
He wasn't sure what to talk about. He was at times quite socially awkward and well he had at one point tossed this poor girl into a tree.
Syaa climbed a hill and focused on his feet. It wouldn't do to dump them both in the dirt.
He tried not to look down at her, seeing that her clothing was a bit uncooperative after the drenching.
She did look good wet

For a solid second she thought she shouldn't have given him his shirt back. Maybe she should have actually put it on instead, but then she thought about what her family would say if they saw her wearing some guy's clothes while being carried by said guy. She certainly wasn't trying to make her brothers pass out.
When he picked her up she had to avoid making another squeak but she did wrap her arms around his neck to make sure he couldn't just chuck her somewhere. Kina wasn't all that trusting at the moment. Still, she felt a bit smug at the fact that she'd gotten him to carry her. Plus, he was warm.
"Just follow the river upstream for a bit. There should be a bridge back to the other side. My family has a ranch about an hours walk from here." If she remembered her map right then they weren't far. Just a few miles.
Kina shifted a bit so that she could get a little closer to him and steal some of his warmth. "I didn't.. he grabbed ahold of me and we both went over." Had it been intentional she'd have said so, but in truth she didn't want to go in the water. "I was running from them. They wanted to take my jewelry."

"Dastardly cretins the lot of them. They should go get real jobs instead of preying on pretty ladies." An hours walk wouldn't be bad, his arms might get tired eventually, but she was very light. "Your family lives in a really nice area." It was more wild across the bridge, there were big acerages out there beyond the forest line. Secret, secluded beaches as well. "Good territory out there."
He walked and walked and walked and eventually the area started to become less wild and more cultivated with fencelines ringing it.
"This look familiar?"
He was trying very hard not to notice how close she was holding him. He was a gentleman, not dead.

"That and my jewelry wasn't their color. It would look awful on them." She couldn't help that she was vain and noticed things like that. She eventually rested her head against his shoulder, a small nod of agreement about where her family lived. It was a good area. And very secure once they were on her family's property since they had a few well trained beasts.
As he walked she seemed to relax a bit, eventually closing her eyes as his warmth and the sway of being carried lulled her into a semi restful state. It wasn't until he asked her if things were family that she came to again. Kina tightened her hold on his neck and moved so she was able to see over his shoulder and look behind him. "Mhm. Should be able to see the houses soon." She shifted again, wiggling in his hold so that she could face forward. "I'm not sure who all is home."
