At the mention of his so called manners he just grinned a bit more. Carrying her was easy and if he really thought about it a free workout while he got to hold a pretty girl in his arms. “I would always show a pretty girl like you some manners, Sugar. All you have to do is ask.” He might have been laying it on thick but it was the truth. He could tell she was a bit on the spoiled side, if her clothes said anything, but he could deal with that. “I think I hear the water now, Sugar. We still following the trail?” He just wanted to know which way he was taking her.

Now that was flattery. Point. Blank. Period. Kina looked at Ilkay with a bit of a smirk before she shook her head at him. Flatter would get him no where but it did make her smile again. When he mentioned water she paused to listen then turned her attention to the side. With her free hand, since she was still holding onto her skirt with the other, she pointed to a place off the trail. “Over there. The stream is a few feet from the trail. Be careful you don’t drop me.” She warned.

He took the directions that were given, making no statement about her smile. At least she was no longer scowling at the ground. Moving off the trail he looked down at her with her warning. “Don’t worry, Sugar, I’d never drop you.” Again, he winked at her. He couldn’t help the flirting. It was just what he did, especially when there was a good looking person to flirt with around.

Her eyes rolled once again but a kind of giggle was given. One could say her mood was much improved. She focused on where they were going and then pointed to a place to the side. There was a large rock for her to sit on that was both dry and clean of mud and dirt. “Over there.” She directed. Once she was seated then she could both wash the fruit and take care of her scrapes.

“Aye Aye, Sugar.” He let his tone drop a little as he smirked at the girl in his arms. Of course he didn’t do much more than that. He was seriously more concerned about getting her cleaned up and making sure she was alright than he was about his game. He could always sweep her off her feet after he was done making sure she was alright. He sat her down and then kneeled beside her waiting for whatever command she would give next so that he could help her.
