She chuckled a little at that. “That adorable boy? Scary?” The alkidike shook her head a little. “If he took after Ujana a bit more maybe but I think he takes after his father.” Not a bad thing but the man wasn’t exactly the type to inspire fear. And Ariya was too lazy to really put fear in anyone. “Still, he has good skills.” And she was content with knowing he had the skills to do the job.

“Awe, come on. Eurig can be scary.” A grin spread across her face. It was a teasing one but it was too bad her little brother wasn’t there to defend himself. “Where was the caravan going?” Maybe if it was coming to Jauhar she’d get to see him. If it was still in Tale she might be able to go visit. Provided it was near where his father lived. Any farther out and she had a feeling she’d be grounded for mentioning it.

“Hm, somewhere in north Tale I think. At least I believe that’s what his letter said.” She turned her head to look for the letter in question. Then again she kept all the letters from Eurig and Ujana so it was hard to tell which was which. As she eyed the bundle on the table she debated on whether or not she wanted to get up and rummage through them.

She cringed once she heard North Tale. “Right. Too far for me to go visit.” She sighed a little. It was worth a shot at least. “Does he say when he’ll be back at his father’s?” Or maybe he was coming home after that. The latter would be the best option. Seeing as she didn’t think her taking another trip so soon would go over well.

She eyed her daughter with a narrowed gaze when she heard that. “It’ll be a while.” Was all she said. She pointed at Subira with one finger. “You are not going anywhere for a while young lady. You can spend you time here with Ika and Ujiri.” There was no way she was comfortable with Subira going off on another trip so soon.
