Doesina gave Sini a wide berth, standing back with one hand resting on the trunk of a tree. Already all the excitement of earlier was long forgotten in the delightful company of the hybrid. If only everyone could be as easy-going and fun, think all of the things they could accomplish instead of spending so much energy on wars and crime. Maybe her own people could relax on their defenses, let their children explore other hobbies than those that only included a sharp edge to it. Sometimes she wished she had been born a hybrid, so that she may choose her own future. But that was blasphemous to think. She could imagine clearly the look of horror on her grandmother's face if she put to words these feelings.

Those thoughts were quickly chased from her head as another light laugh sprang from her throat. "Perhaps if you perfected it, you could turn it into a game. I think it has promise as one." With the branch now safely back in the other woman's arms, Doesina moved back to her side, flicking a stray dreadlock out of her face. She clapped her hands in delight at the agreement. "I wish more of my Sisters thought like that. But I guess it's a change that must happen over a few generations. Seems so simple to me. Are we really all that different?"

Looking up at the canopy above them, the Elaria watched a stray animal jump from one branch to the other. Thankfully not one of the creatures they were talking about. "Anything is better than nothing. Especially in these forests. Everything here is so big." And no better teacher than an Alk. As soon as she'd learned one weapon, her grandmother had been throwing another into her arms. As the daughter of two exiled Alkidike, Mayella could sometimes be a bit hard in her training.

Doesina looked back down at the question, glancing once at the water before back at Sini. Tempting offer. Very tempting. She did love to go swimming with her Sisters back home, leaving their clothes on the banks to avoid having to wait for them to dry later. She made a big show of thinking about it, staring down at the water despite knowing instantly what she wanted to do. "Doesn't sound like a bad idea." Reaching down, she pulled the sandals off her feet and hiked up her skirt, tying it around her thighs. She than waded into the water, turning around and holding out a hand, a small tint of color on her own cheeks from the compliment. It was strange to hear such a thing from someone not even of her own tree. Most Earthlings were so afraid of her, giving her wary looks anytime she went into town. "I wouldn't mind if we got a little bit closer. Even by accident."

I’ll keep that in mind!” Replied Vilasini with a laugh, her gaze bright as she contemplated turning a stick tied by string into a jumping game for future amusement. It definitely would be a lot more fun if it was planned and not because of a menzuri trying to turn her into a snack! Her expression only continued to brighten the more she interacted with Doesina, the hybrid obviously enjoying the companionship. “Right? I can only hope and pray that our opinions start showing up in others more often, especially in the future.” She made a face at the very thought of extremist ideals showing back up instead of others being more open to the different races and all that they could learn from one another. What fun was it to simply stick to certain ideals without even considering the other options? Sini most definitely hated having no options and preferred being able to try out whatever she pleased. “As it is I think we both can agree that we have hands and feet, need to eat and sleep and everything else that we share.” Sini joked lightly before finding herself flushing at Doesina prepared to get into the water. Alrighty then.

Glancing down at her own torn and dirtied attire, Sini gave a slight shrug and opted to just keep on whatever she had. Her heart gave a little leap at the comment before she reached for the offered hand with a small smile crossing her lips. ”Alright, but no take backsies.” She teased despite the flush on her own cheeks as she slowly waded into the water next to Doesina. As she walked Sini tried to start rubbing away at the webbing that connected her to the tree limb, her movements awkward and determined as she managed to peel away a bit at a time. Suddenly the water’s current grew stronger, pushing her backwards, and Sini found herself bumping into the taller woman. “Does that count as an accident?” Sini glanced up towards Doesina, her gaze a mixture of playfulness and curiosity, as the webbing kept slowly dissolving in the water around them. “I think it’s working!” Her excitement distracted her as she glanced back towards the water, still using Doesina as support to keep the current from knocking her back even further. Even if the webbing and the current weren't involved Sini actually enjoyed having the support at her back, the warmth of the Elaria comforting rather than terrifying as strange as the thought was. Sini never would have thought that she would be in such a predicament let alone with an Elaria out of all people! But truly it was not the worst thing in the world and even Sini had to admit that accident or not she was actually hoping that maybe she could get closer to Doesina, if they had more chances to interact together going forward.

"I think most of the webbing is going away, unless you'd rather stay like this for a bit more." Sini finally managed, her gaze peeking towards Doesina boldly as the pair stood there and the river flowed around them.

The cool water splashed up the Elaria's legs, sending nice shivers up her thighs to her spine. Being as tall as she was, it didn't quite reach to her knees. Hiking her skirt up as high as she had was completely unnecessary, but who knew how deep exactly the water might be. Sometimes something that looked shallow had deeper holes in it than you could see. The hem of her skirt getting a little wet wasn't a terrible thing, but she still didn't want to have wet clothing. It hung so heavily around her legs. Clothing was better when it was loose and free.

"And we're a lot more similar than most," Doesina continued, wrapping her fingers delicately around Sini's, her thumb gently stroking the other girl's hand absently. "Even if you don't have antenna, you should still feel welcomed as a fellow cousin, at least." She followed slowly behind, watching where she placed her feet for fear of sharp or slippery rocks, spending most of it looking down at the flowing water. The next comment made her glance back up, a sly grin playing slowly on her lips as she leaned a bit forward and winked. "You've hardly been giving me any reasons to back away." And in fact, she did not, but kept following at a close distance, still allowing herself to be used as extra support. With her height and long legs, she should be as a tree, standing sturdy and strong against everything. At least most things. It still caused her a bit of surprise when Sini suddenly fell back, making her own footing almost slip out from underneath her, as well. Both hands instantly went to the hybrid's shoulders, holding on in case she should fall even further. When she did not, Doesina still did not let go. She was enjoying the sensation of warmth that came from having someone physically close to her, the joy that came from touching another person. She had always been an overly affectionate woman.

Once more, she leaned forward to softly say above Sini's ear, "Depends if you didn't just do that on purpose. Can't say I mind, though. Little bit of cold, little bit of warm feels nice on the body."

“Maybe if I had the right company, I would consider trying to visit an encampment just to see what it is like at least once.” Replied Vilasini quietly, her cheeks flushed from the gentle touch that she was not accustomed to. It was not an uncomfortable feeling, but she had never really spent this much time with someone else while running around throughout Neued. The last person to actually even gently pet her hair was the Shifter who had taken her in whenever she helped her sleep at night as a youngling. Surprisingly though she was alright with Doesina being so close and the additional flirtations caused her heart to flip in her chest, her cheeks burning even more. “Good. I hope you don’t feel like you need to back away. Would be a shame if I accidentally chased you away when it’s been quite a nice time together so far.” She admitted with a sly smile of her own before the current knocked her against Doesina, the force keeping her there unless she wanted to slip away and go further downstream. Even though Doesina was a hybrid she was still slightly shorter than Doesina, the water coming up a bit closer to the petite woman’s waist. Either way Vilasini was not accustomed to fighting against things and rather relied upon flexibility and speed, something that was making it harder to fight against the current and forcing her to rely upon Doesina more as an anchor. Not that she minded in all honesty especially since Doesina seemed content with the situation as well.

Though the whisper in her ear completely started Sini and she found herself letting out an embarrassed squeak before accidentally tumbling backwards to splash into the waters. Not that the cold water completely helped to rid how warm her body was suddenly feeling after that! Talk about a dangerous yet enticing situation! Thankfully though she landed in front of Doesina and Sini simply sat there while the water kept pushing her against Doesina’s calves. “I don’t dislike it…but I was surprised.” She managed after a bit staying still as her heart raced in her chest while the water washed over her. As she spoke she slowly peered upwards, peeking up at the Elaria with a sheepish expression. “I think the webs are all gone so we can probably get back to shore in a moment. I’ll definitely need to let the sun dry out my clothing.” Once she gathered herself that was.

The flirtatious expression quickly left Doesina's face at the prospect of it. Imagine! Taking an Earthling or a hybrid into a center of Sister activity! That sounded amazing. If not also something completely unattainable. Maybe the prejudice didn't run as deep with the newer Trees. She considered Heike a special case, having been raised by an ideal Elaria hiding in plain sight with all intentions of spreading her hatred as much as she could to the new blooms. When her cousin returned to Kiros, would she continue that? It was so hard to tell. Far as she could see, Heike didn't seem overly aggressive. Not like the estranged mother at all, who Doesina had been told many stories about before every time she'd grown curious about the rest of her family in other places.

The Elaria gave a smirk and a small chuckle, the flirty tone slowly returning back to her voice. She liked practicing her flirty banter with some of her friends back home, but it was much more fun with someone she didn't know as well. Sent more heat through her body than when her friends responded. They didn't get quite as flustered as Sini, having known her for as long as they did. All it did was send them all into fits of giggles at the things they were saying. "Since when did an Elaria turn down a challenge?" She gave a giggle, cut off short with a startled gasp as the hybrid suddenly started falling into the water. Instinctively, she backed away a step, hands up in defense. "You surprised me, too." Hands on her hips, she leaned her body double, looking down at the now much smaller girl at her feet. "Maybe next time we should bring swimwear." Was that an invitation to do this again? Yes. Yes it was. It was nice having someone around who complimented her own personality so well. She knew eventually she would have to leave Jauhar, so she hoped she could have as much fun with Sini as she could until that time came.

For the first time, she found herself wishing Heike would take her sweet time with whatever she was doing with the Alkidike.
