Lutana gave a soft laugh. “I’m sorry. I appreciate your thoughts, but it is definitely not something I would have expected to hear from most Elaria.” She admitted after a moment. “It makes me happy though to see that you share such feelings, others would probably be more resistant to sharing anything especially with certain feelings of pride.” So many Aishans she had encountered, even Alkidike who were more open to interacting with earthlings, seemed to hold themselves above everything else, especially those with earthling blood. It was refreshing to find someone like Doesina, one born from a tree planted by those who wanted to take everything, and Lutana found herself truly enjoying the conversation. With some customers she had to force herself to stay still, but in this situation it was completely natural to relax and enjoy tea together.

Well, if you stay around the earthling countries long enough then it may become more obvious who carries blood from which country. I have a hint of Aishan blood within my own veins, but I also carry blood from Zena though my Shifter heritage is the strongest thanks to my mother.” Explained Lutana as she took another sip of tea, enjoying the rich taste that did indeed remind her of Yael. It had been a brief visit, but an enjoyable one where she did wonder about returning for a visit. If only the superstitious people were more inclined to talk to foreigners instead of running away…

The observation from Doesina brought a nod of appreciation from Lutana. “Perhaps that is indeed the case. All I know is that I’m wary of reading leaves when the questions are too demanding and so I appreciate that you simply asked about your return.” Replied the hybrid quietly as she shifted the leaves in her own cup, the little bit of tea that remained inside revealing a few strands that had curled together in strange shapes. That was one thing she knew better than to ask…her own fate. Lutana simply looked away and focused on Doesina again, a melodic laugh leaving her lips at the question. “One question only, I’m afraid.” She teased lightly before studying Doesina. “But I can offer some wisdom for free. Traveling the world is always a good idea to consider, it truly can broaden one’s horizon. You only need to consider if there is a task or person who needs you first before going about your travels. It’s never a good idea to travel without resolving outstanding matters…those who try to run from their responsibilities will always find it catching up to them somehow.” Even if it was just being haunted by guilt or actually facing the consequences of their actions…well that was simply up to fate and Lutana knew better than to risk such things.

The relaxed, carefree nature of the Elaria slipped a little at the turn of the conversation, her smile fading to a tiny curl of her lips as she took on a serious expression. It was a subject she had a lot of her own feelings about. It was nice to talk about it with someone who wasn't an Aishan. Different and strange. But nice nonetheless. "Guess I have a different kind of pride. My mother didn't teach me to think like the rest of them. It wasn't right, she always said. We all share this world and have an equal right to it." She traced the edge of her teacup with one pink finger, looking down at the liquid slowly rippling from her touch. Of course a lot didn't agree. They were hardly shy in telling her so. Didn't she have any dignity? Any pride in who she was? Yes. Lots of it. She didn't understand what that had to do with how you treated the other races around you. She looked back up at the one before her. giving her usual bright smile as her hands went back to her lap. "Sometimes I think I was born to the wrong tree. My cousin is far more Elaria than I am and she's an Elidae. But I'm also happy as I am, especially if I can add some more diversity to how people think of my Sisterhood."

The smile turned into a little gasp, the full lips making a little circle as she leaned forward, squinting her solid pale eyes at the other woman. Before remembering it was impolite to stare and backed off, taking a quick mouthful of the tea. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize we were more related in other ways. Would it be too bold of me to ask which one?" She assumed it was one of the fathers mentioned, otherwise she was certain she would have noticed. Half hybrids usually showed the Aishan blood well. Male hybrids were still something she found weird. Not in a bad way. Just not something she was used to seeing, the features of a Sister on a man. It was something her grandmother could never come to terms with, no matter how many strides she had taken to being more accepting of everyone, no matter their background. "Yes, I thought that was all you were, it's so strong. Maybe a little of something else I don't know."

Doesina swirled the tea around in her cup, watching the leaves slowly appear and disappear under the movement of the liquid. "Ah. There isn't anything complicated in my life to ask about. I like things more simple." Even the reason she was even in Jauhar was pretty straight-forward. "Okay. Only one question," she giggled back, brushing a dread from around her eyes. "I guess I already locked it in."

"I will gladly accept some advice," she said next, leaning forward a little bit in anticipation of what Lutana was going to say. Doesina listened very intently, very curious and interested in the subject of travel. She did feel very conflicted about it. And about her skepticism on fortune telling. "Can you read the future without the leaves?" she teased back with another little giggle. "I do have a responsibility to do before I can think of doing something for myself, again. It's why I left home in the first place, I volunteered for it. But it's also given me a desire to see more of the Earthling world." Which made her feel awful that seeing the other trees or even the other Sisters from the different trees wasn't a forethought before seeing Earthlings. "Maybe my own, too," she added quickly, looking down at her cup. A mouthful was left, which she drained quickly and pushed the empty cup over the table at the other woman.

”Well they do say that while we cannot choose our birth, we can decide the path that fits us best going forward even if it isn’t what others expected. I personally appreciate that you turned out different than expected. It’s refreshing to hear an Aishan with such thoughts, your mother is a wise woman.” Mused Lutana with a small smile, her expression gentle and supportive as she listened to the Elaria. It was true that most would assume the Elidae to be more gentle considering they weren’t raised by the Extremists as the Elaria were, but not everyone could control their personality especially when it came to aspects of arrogance and the like. She dealt with that plenty from various races over the years. No one could ever know who was going to walk into the teashop next, sometimes they were pleasant and other times Lutana would do her best to quietly hurry up the reading since she simply did not want to keep their company long.

Not at all.” Lutana laughed softly, fully amused by the Elaria’s reaction to her reveal. “I enjoy when others are curious. My father is Alkidike and Zenan.” She answered, her fingers leaving the cup to trace around the corner of an eye. “As much as others may think it’s makeup which gives me my darker appearance, it’s actually Alkidike fade that’s blended in with my Shifter blood. Most shifters have pale hair while mine is darker like my father thanks to my Zenan blood also.” It was far from being the bright green that marked Alkidike, but it was not usual for Shifters to have darker eyes and lips, her arms as well beneath the bangles would darken the closer one looked towards her hands.

Lutana laughed softly once more at the Elaria’s reaction to her advice. What an amusing visitor she had today! She was thankful Doesina was the one to enter the shop instead of someone else. “Perhaps but I would also think it’s just fairly easy to read travelers after a few years.” She replied finally before listening to Doesina’s explanation. “Ah, so it sounds like you will be fine. You have accepted your responsibility and simply need to take care of it before exploring the next part of your journey. Who knows? The fates always seem to have something planned during these journeys that could truly change your life so hopefully your tasks bear some fruit for you.” Lutana reached over and picked up the smaller wooden box of packed tea bags. “Take this so you can at least have something warm should you ever need a pick me up during your travels.

"Thank you for the kind words," Doesina beamed, feeling her cheeks flushing from all the compliments. It wasn't every day that anyone, especially an Aishan hybrid, praised her up so highly. Or at all. Maybe she should volunteer to leave on a pilgrimage of peace to show everyone an Elaria wasn't always as extreme in that direction as most of them were, as cliche of a thing for a peace-loving individual to do. Though the thoughts of travel weren't all banished from her head. "I am equally as appreciative of you being open about listening to me. I'm sure most would rather brush me off." At least were here experiences with the Yaeli, and than the Shifters. Than again, living so close to the Trees must naturally make one more on edge than the other places without a Tree.

The Elaria squinted, narrowing her large eyes. "I honestly didn't notice. I guess I'm used to more bold colors around the eyes and hands. Like pink." Leaning back, she held up her hands as if the noticeable shade of her fingers would have been somehow missed, waving them around a little in the air before returning them to her lap. "Zenan hair, huh? I guess I should take notes on the different colors if I plan to maybe travel in the future. Sisters from different Trees are so easy to recognize, even when the blood is mixed," she added with a slight chuckle. That wouldn't look weird at all, an Elaria staring intently at everyone, asking weird racial questions, and jotting everything down in a notebook. Perhaps she could be the first Aishan journalist!

"I guess most people leave for similar reasons." She said this quieter than her usual tone of voice, not meaning it to be a question. It made sense. Didn't most leave to see the world? Wasn't that the most common reason? Restless people who needed changes of scenery to be happy. Was she like that? She sure spent a lot of time wandering the wilderness of Yael growing up. But she did also love being with her family, coming home after a long day exploring to sit down on the couch underneath a large blanket with her mother.

Doesina listened to the rest quietly, her fingers entwining themselves on her lap. When she was offered the box, her eyes widened and one pink hand rose, hovering in the air above the table. "Oh. Thank you! That is very kind of you." She placed her hand on it, sliding it slowly over to her side of the table and leave it there, her hand resting on the flat surface beside it. "Yes. I've already learned much and met people I never would have expected in this one trip to Jauhar."

Lutana smiled, amusement dancing in her silver gaze. "You will never have to worry about me brushing you off. I tend to be a good listener, at least that's what others have told me." She mused lightly, proud of her strangeness and how she enjoyed listening to other perspectives. How could she not be open minded considering her own mixed family and heritage? Lutana simply nodded, holding up her fingers for inspection as Dosiena digested the new information about her hybrid heritage. It was definitely tricky, something that most didn't pick up on save for whenever Lutana stood a bit taller than most. Not by a lot like some of her siblings, but just an inch or two taller than many Shifters in the area. "The more you travel, the more you'll start to notice the differences between earthlings." She promised, having the feeling that Doesina would be one of those to travel even if only for a short while.

"You're welcome." Lutana smiled warmly. "You did come here for tea, after all." She teased lightly, the hybrid rising as the bell chimed below for new customers entering the shop. "I will not rush you, but I do need to attend to the store. Feel free to linger or browse around more, as much as you'd like." She wished Doesina safe travels and while Lutana knew a simple gift of tea wouldn't solve all of the troubles along the road, she did hope that it would at least provide some comfort should there be any rough times ahead.
