If she had it her way every winter she would have a child and the following spring she would be expecting another. Still, it seemed that after Ziya and Yngvara the spirits weren't as keen to bless them. It would happen with time, she was sure, but the wait was awful.
The home was getting closer by the step and Sylvirah was already reaching for the door before she started to speak. "I'm hoping he'll work with beasts. A merchant's work is fine, but I'd rather he stay closer to home." It was selfish, she knew, but even with the changing times she wasn't ready to see her children leave the Ild'vann. Walking inside, she held the door open for Iriyana long enough to make sure the other woman was inside before closing it and starting the process of taking off her boots. "There's plenty of work to be done here without looking for it."
