"If it helps I saw that most of the work on the Maiden has been finished for now." Offered Emiyn with a faint grin. "So it wouldn't be too horrible to go and rest up in the room with tea. I can keep you company." He shifted so that he could hold the parcel of herbs up against his elbow and held out his free hand. "Maybe we can pose names then for both options...just in case. I'm feeling like it may be a girl, hopefully with your lovely eyes."

With a grunt of reluctant acceptance, Yokka carefully pulled herself up with Emiyn's support. The soft wish of Emiyn's made Yokka's cheeks flush bright. "You're such a sap," she huffed bashfully. She hooked her arm with him and grabbed the bucket with her other hand. At least this meant she could go be miserable in the privacy of their room... Names! Man, they needed names... "Well, if it's a girl... I'd like to name her for my mother, Alannari. Maybe Lanna or Nari or.. something." She thought about the boys in her family and wrinkled her nose. Certainly not. "Maybe something themed about the sea for a boy?"

Emiyn chuckled at the comment. "Only when you're involved." He admitted softly as he started leading the way to their shared room. It looked like they would have to take some insight from the captain's quarters soon to get prepared for a child on board. Emiyn of course kept that to himself for now out of fear that Yokka would want to start working on it at the very moment. So he focused on names as they walked. "Both are beautiful names." He acknowledged thoughtfully. "There's always Ronan or Kaito from my home village that relate to the ocean." Maybe something like that would be good. "Let's just pray we don't have triplets or anything like that. It'll probably be hard to settle on just two names as is." He teased quietly, his voice softer just in case they passed any crew on the way.

Yokka tried to carry the bucket as casually as possible, trying hard to not look like the mess she felt. They passed by only a couple of the crew, most of them either resting or working on the deck. She couldn't imagine lounging around in her room while everyone else worked around her. Maybe she could learn to appreciate it though. Sitting down on the desk with a cup of tea, shouting orders to everyone else around her? She couldn't help a slight smirk at the thought.
Yokka groaned and rolled her eyes. "Triplets? Now you're just trying to make me vomit," she teased. If it was triplets, well... they would handle it. Fran had only mentioned one though, so surely that was all. It was better to focus on the nautical themed names. "I like those names," she agreed, pushing the door to their room open. With a soft sigh, she left Emiyn to the tea making while she settled herself onto the cushioned wicker couch.
Holy smokes.... She was going to be a mother.

Sabra via Discord A chuckle escaped his lips. "My bad." Emiyn couldn't help the lingering smile though as they settled into their room, the Matori happily making tea to help Yokka. Admittedly he felt like a bundle of nerves but he was confident that together the pair of them could handle anything that came their way. He was excited to see what else the future could hold and would be more than delighted to greet their child.
