Elpis looked surprised a moment, blinking before she remembered it was
fine now. This was her court now, she was allowed to reveal her identity.
....Well, she didn't have a
name yet, but she'd figure that out soon enough -- glad, for once, to be a Big Nerd.
"Oh, I... Yeah. I can." Elpis was still careful to look around, checking her senses for other auras before taking a deep breath, powering down carefully.
She still didn't have a
name in mind yet -- she was processing everything -- but the woman was absolutely a state from her encounter. The blue button up shirt -- dark blue, and plain, bar a pocket - wqas frumpled and wrinkled. Grey slacks matched the dishevelled state, and... Dress shows? Well, she'd once chosen the look of professionalism for vastly different reasons -- reasons she no longer had, and she chalked that up to "terrible" and nothing detailled.
Sova made a mildly bemused noise. It wasn't because she powered down -- that was
sensible now -- but she absolutely looked like a sorry mess. He generally didn't feel much point in being too critical though, as he was acutely aware she'd had A Night, plus if this was going to be his aunt, he couldn't be an absolute b*****d -- and besides, maybe she'd play nice with his sister. That was what he considered important.
Sova only powered down after a minute of appraisal of the woman, the reedy form og Emitt Tucana shoving his hands in his pockets immediately as he regarded the woman carefully, eyes half-narrowed. Jaw length silvery-white hair coiled around his face, blue eyes analyzing the woman a minute more before he relaxed fully, wearing faded black jeans, black and white sneakers, and a button up short sleeve in off-white with a dark brown leather vest, one toe digging into the dirt absently.
"So how fast ius this going to get Awkward, auntie? Because you really will need a first name. I can't do all the work."
"...Oh, right." And she finally looked... Somewhat thoughtful, trying to process everything even still before pursing and unpursing her lips.
"I think I have one. I think. Song? I mean it's not English, but." She was part Chinese, or at least, Emily was on paper.
