Ethan was a bit surprised when he saw her mouth and she didnt seem fully at ease, but he followed as they were lead up to a temporary office area but when inside, he sat at the chair he was told to sit in. He looked like a ruffian in the fancy clean room as he wasnt dressed in the finest clothes. He was nervous, his ears down against his head but they perked up as her father sat down and spoke, "What is your name and address?" he asked as Ethan straightened up, "If youre asking about me personally sir, my name is Ethan Carter, im 18 years old, I dont have a home because well, im not human and humans have a... negative view on inus. My mother passed away years ago and i dont know who my father is because of the unfortunate situation the human put my inu mother in..." he explained giving his life story some but he sighed as he straightened up, "Sir, if I can explain ny actions to clear up why I was heading away from here... over on 34th bleaker street is an old apartment building, its condemned but they havent scheduled demolitions on it because no ones bought it. Its about 3 blocks from the canal that divides into the black market area your guards stated I was taking Hera. I wasnt going there, I was going towards the place ive been making home, people that go near the canal disappear and I may be homeless but im not a fool. Hera told me she was running from kidnappers and I didnt know here but she didnt seem as if she was lying so I figured helping her hide out would be best til she could go to the authorities." he explained his situation but her father just kept his gaze on Ethan til he looked over at Hera for the kidnapping comment but he sighed, "So do you think you have what it takes to watch after and protect my daughter? he asked as Ethan was surprised by the question, "What do you mean sir?" he asked as her father calmly stood, "Soon, Hera and I have to return to our home country, if you are to be her personal guard, you will fly home with us and I will have you train with one of my best guards. If my daughter has selected you over my best men, she must see something in you. However, betray the very minimal trust I am showing you and being arrested is the least of your concerns." he stated in a more fatherly threatening tone but Ethan nodded.

Ethan heard what was said between the two, he didnt feel like wanting and the silence after her father stated being arrested was the least of his worries. When Hera finally spoke, he looked to her, his ears twitching some as he listened, she whispered but in the quiet room, even her father could hear her words. When she asked for forgiveness, he seemed hesitant, "Hera... I can forgive the lying and you didnt do anything wrong in wanting to see the town here. It has some good places to visit, its just, I think its hard to forgive the lying about your father. Family is not something you would want to be rid of... trust me, I should know. Your father may be overly protective but it makes sense. However, if you trust me enough to have me as your guard, then I will do everything in my power to keeo you safe." he then turned his attention to her father, "Sir, I accept the conditions of following your rules of being your daughter's guard. However, if I may suggest, im not going to keep her locked up. If she requests going to see where ever it may be she travels to with you, allow me to take her out to places nearby where you stay. She wont be in her room, and a single guard is much less eye drawing then multiple. Better yet, most turn their attention away from inus so they wouldnt really look in her direction." he stated simply.

Her father grimaced some at the thought of his daughter being away from the hotel, however he knew she was coming of age of being rebelous, best to give some liberty then none, "Pushing your luck a bit boy, but ill consider it, for now, you will be escorted to another room, the one neighboring Hera's. You will remain in side room til we depart for the flight tomorrow." he stated as Ethan nodded, but then soon they were both dismissed from the room and Ethan was lead to the room neighboring Hera's, though there was a door that connected the door her father didnt account for.
