He moved away from the growing crowd of family members and listened to everything. "Sweet. Gran made desert!" And with that he started to head back so he could wash up. "Already on it!" He called back when he heard Phae mention it. He had come over enough to know the drill by now.
"Juniper, get down." He snapped his fingers to gain the familiar's attention then pointed at the floor. Within seconds the Loatoa was on the floor by his feet and sniffing around. "Good."
After that he led the way to the wash basin so that they could clean off their hands and faces.

She didn't move when the others hugged Phae. Though she did snort at being smooshed between Thea and her grandmother. Once she was let go, however, she smiled up at Phae. He grip relaxed and she moved back before pointing toward her cousins to let them know she was also going to go wash up. She might be around family only but she still rarely used her voice.

He gave a whoop at the mention of desert. "So worth the trip over!" He could easily be bribed to walk across all of Tendaji if he got his grandmother's deserts as a reward. She was an amazing cook in his opinion, though Ari was getting just as good.
He followed his brother once again, this time going toward the wash basin. "We know gran." Zohra pretended to groan about it but he wore a smile the entire time.
