When she felt her dad's big hand on her head she ducked a little. A snort came from her as she reached up to grab his hand from her hair. Her other hand signed half made signals for 'Stop messing up my hair.

He laughed when she grabbed his hand. He pressed down a little just to give his weight behind it without hurting her. "I can mess your hair up if I want to little sprite. We can cut it short." He chuckled a bit at the empty threat.

When she heard him mention cutting her hair she went wide eyed. Siofra knew he didn't mean it but it still made her worried for a second. Her hands came up again. 'You wouldn't!'

He grinned before he laughed. "No, I wouldn't." He liked that his daughter had long red hair like her mother. "You have pretty hair." He tugged on a dread before letting go and putting his hand down.

The compliment to her hair made her preen a little. Sio didn't sign her thanks but she figured the grin she gave her dad would say enough. Her parents always did give her compliments that seemed to make her day.
