Yokka finally flipped off the final layer and braced herself to help Ephrym to his feet. "Take it easy. Don't know how long you've been wrapped up like that." She looked over his body, noting the torn up shirt and the clean bandages. "Looks like she did take care of you," she murmured, unable to help giving the Elarian a suspicious glance. It didn't last long though, her eyes dropping quickly to avoid making eye contact. Instead, it was best to focus on how Ephrym was doing. "You okay?"

"Nice to meet ya, Mio." Offered Ephrym with a grin. "I'd give you a better greeting but all things considered I'm a bit tied up at the moment." He couldn't resist teasing even as he finally managed to free himself from the blanket, his body swaying slightly as he tried to balance his full weight despite his injuries. His ribs ached and surely had been busted in the hit while he wasn't certain if his left leg was busted or not. Still, Ephrym didn't want Yokka and Emiyn to worry so much about him and if anything he was more worried about them. How did they end up all the way over here? Had they come from the Misty Maiden to look for him or did the storm wash them ashore as well?

"So you've been here for a while and aren't just lost. I didn't know there was an Aishan settlement here. I was going to say if you needed help getting around then I'd freely offer you passage on my ship if she's still standing." Mused Ephrym as he listened to Mio's answer. So if they weren't recently from Yael then it must mean that some Aishans truly had settled over here. He offered Yokka a small smile though at the question and gave a nod. "I'm hanging in there. How are you two faring? How's the ship?" The more he stood, the more his body threatened to lean further towards the right but Ephrym pushed himself back upright each time. He did notice though that he had been indeed taken care of by the stranger, as unexpected as it was to find help out here especially from an Aishan. Ephrym was thankful and honest about his offer though if there was a settlement it seemed that Mio was doing well then.

"The ship is still standing." Answered Emiyn as he pondered the strange situation that they found themselves in. Thankfully though it seemed that the Elaria wasn't aggressive and Emiyn had to admit he was grateful that she had helped the captain out. He did move a couple of steps closer to the captain, his gaze skimming over the bandages before focusing back on Yokka. It was a relief that Ephrym was alive but he still found himself worried over Yokka's condition.

"The crew threw you a grand memorial service though." Emiyn admitted quietly, some amusement flickering across his expression before he glanced over at Mio. "So if you're here with others then does that mean we're close to Aishan territory?" He found himself questioning with concern. "Does that pose a danger to us or is it fine for the ship to stay docked nearby?" If he remembered correctly the Aishans were super territorial and protective of their main settlements, especially if there were any of the important trees nearby. The last thing they needed was a fight with some of the...locals? This was definitely not the meeting he had imagined with the Kahi who were supposedly more peaceful than most. Supposedly.

Mio chuckled lightly. "Nice to meet you, too, eh.. Captain?" The female seemed to have the blankets taken care of, so Mio kept her distance. She could still see the wariness of the two new arrivals, and she had no interest in any sort of confrontation. Better to just sit back and let them move on. "Thank, but I know this place. I think you guys might need the directions more than me."

She started to pack up her things and looked over at the mage with a shrug. "This is more the Kahikinan area than ours. You'll be fine here as long as you don't go shoving that staff into anyone's face."

Yokka smiled encouragingly at Ephrym. It seemed like he really was okay. With the air around them calming down, she felt better about moving to one of the nearby rocks to sit down. Emiyn would be able to update Ephrym better than she could since she had yet to see the boat at all. She grunted softly to account for her own wellbeing and rubbed at her neck. "There's probably going to be so much to fix," she grumbled to herself.

"We could use directions and all the help we could get." Suggested Ephrym after a thoughtful moment, his gaze roaming towards the Elaria again. "We'll be in the area for a few days doing repairs on the ship it sounds like if you have need of some earthlings sailors. I'm shameless but I never mind expanding on my crew and connections." He grinned towards Mio before Emiyn spoke about the memorial service.

"Did they? I'm so glad they held high hopes for me." Still despite his words a chuckle left his lips at the thought of a memorial service for him. Hopefully it was a grand enough sight! If anything he would have been upset at them just ignoring his death and moving on without any sort of service.

"I suppose then we should start wandering back to the ship." He made a face at the thought of repairs though mostly the wince was from the aching pain in his side as he took a few steps forward, testing his limits. It seemed he could walk for the most part thanks to the Elaria's help. Spirits knew where the ocean would have taken him if he had lingered along the cove without dragging his body forward or what beasts would have thought him a delicious snack.

Even though he was still wary of the stranger, Emiyn found himself relaxing more as Ephrym started moving more and talking with the others. He couldn't help the slight eyeroll at his captain's usual antics of trying to pick up others, but at the same time he just didn't know. It would be good to have someone more local helping but at the same time was an Elaria the best choice? Definitely not the type of local he had been expecting that was for certain.

His gaze did soften though as he watched Yokka sitting down, his concern for her obvious. "We do need to take care of repairs but rest is important too. Are you both faring okay after getting knocked around by the storm?" His voice was soft as he lowered his staff, reflecting upon the Elaria's advice, and joined Yokka's side. Regardless of whatever Mio decided to do Emiyn was just ready to get back to the Misty Maiden so that everyone's injuries could be properly tended too and so that he could start helping with whatever he could on board.

Brow cocking, Mio briefly imagined herself joining a ship crew and sailing out over the expanse of the ocean. The tingle of adventure ran along her spine, but instead she just let out a laugh. "Connections and directions I can help you with. We naturally do a lot of trading with the Kahi's towns. We'll be able to help you find whatever you need."

Once she had her pack stuffed up again, she swung it over her shoulder and took a step toward the trio. Not too closely, of course. "Alright. We'll get to your ship and I'll direct you to the best port from there."

Yokka didn't bother looking up when she gave another grunt of dismissal. Now that they had found Ephrym and everyone was accounted for, there was less to worry about and more chance for her aching body to complain. With a soft hiss, she pushed herself upright and nodded. "I'm fine. We gotta get back. Who knows what those bums are doing without me to tell them what to do."

..That wasn't true. She trusted the crew for the most part. It was still embarrassing to know she had gotten thrown from the ship. That was a little nugget that would bother her for a while. She had worked hard for her reputation, and slipping during a storm might ruin it all... Perhaps irrational, but it was a fear none the less. "I wanna see how far they've gotten, and then I'll nap in my own bed instead of staying out here on these rocks."

Ephrym's gaze lit up at the confirmation. "Well then I will keep that offer open for you if you ever did want to consider taking the leap." He promised with a grin towards the Elaria. They most definitely could use all of the help and he would have plenty of time to try to make a point on the way back towards the ship. They could even promise to stop back in this area before heading back home to Belrea! It would surely be pretty fun to have someone new on the crew even if only for a bit.

"I think the best plan is to hit the nearest ports, circle around the islands and come back here before heading back to Belrea." He mused thoughtfully as he glanced towards Emiyn and hobbled a bit forward, his body swaying slightly with the effort. He nodded in agreement with Yokka though. It would be best to check on the crew and then fall on his own bed once he made certain everything was set for their recovery and future departure.

Emiyn shot his captain a look but didn't protest. It seemed they had a plan already and for now his focus was on getting everyone to the ship safely. If the Elaria had meant to cause trouble then surely she would not have been so helpful towards their captain, even before realizing he had come with a crew and a ship. Still, his gaze scanned the foliage around them as if looking for anyone else that could be watching.

His sharp gaze did soften once more though as he looked between the captain and Yokka, a soft sigh of defeat leaving his lips. "You both could lose your legs and still want to work first. I promise things were going smoothly before I left." He protested with a frown before shaking his head, "Either way let's focus on getting back. Once you check on everything it'll be straight to the healer for both of you." He glanced towards Mio once more before nodding, a silent appreciation for her help, and then gestured for them all to start moving. It would be best to get back before the sun sank too low in the sky because even with a local on their side Emiyn felt wary about being out in the darkness of the islands.

Mio nodded, still amused at the idea. Leave her mother and sister to go off on some grand adventure? Right.

Now that the other two seemed to be calming down, she couldn't help positioning herself a little closer to the captain. He magic had only been able to do so much. She needed to put more practice into the healing part of her abilities... "You still look pretty unsteady. Watch your step. I can help if you need. It won't do for me to save you just for you to go stumbling and getting hurt again."

Emiyn's observation managed to pull a smirk from Yokka. Work and ships were her life. What else was there?

The thought made her gaze unconsciously flick over to Emiyn... He had kept searching for her.. Heat rose to her cheeks, and she turned her flustered focus to where she was walking. The Aishan was right; being saved just to trip and die on the way back was not ideal. She wanted to argue that she was fine, but even she knew a healer would be best for her throbbing headache. At least everyone was alive...
