Jhin laughed. “Of course.” He wrapped his arms around Kyril and gently tugged her into his lap. “I suppose it’s a good thing I can stay home more this time around. I’ll make sure to take care of you so please rely on me for once.” He murmured quietly while pressing a couple of kisses against her head. “I wonder how the girls will react?” Now that was the question!

“I wonder how they will react indeed." Kyril leaned against Jhin and closed her eyes for a moment as she tried to keep the world from spinning around her. She hadn’t been so dizzy with the girls so it made her wonder what type of child they would be expecting this time around. “I think they’ll be delighted.” She hoped so at least! The girls would be older sisters now and she could only imagine their surprise.

“I’ll let you tell them then.” Jhin replied with a soft chuckle. “Do you need more time? I can brew some tea and we’ll take it easy today.” He glanced about thoughtfully as he held his wife in his arms. Perhaps the hike would wait for another day when she wasn’t having such a bad start to things. Already he was thinking about everything they would need to prepare. They had kept some of the girls’ baby things in storage so that was easy enough and they had already expanded their home over the years to add more rooms. A nursery could be set up in their room and then the baby could be moved to one of the extra rooms they had added for whenever Kyril’s family visited. That would just leave one guest room but that was completely fine.

“Psst.” Kyril chuckled as she saw the familiar expression crossing Jhin’s face. “You’re thinking too hard.” She teased lightly before finally moving to stand. “Let’s just finish those eggs, brew some tea and then we can look over the house and start making plans.” She winked towards her husband before offering him her hands playfully now that she was starting to feel better. It was exciting though to know that their family would be expanding soon and Kyril was excited to tell everyone the news.
“I love you.” Kyril added with a small tender smile towards Jhin. “So don’t worry too much because this time everything will go smoothly.” There would be no divisions, no misunderstandings and she was definitely not going to leave anytime soon. Never again.

Jhin shook his head at his wife’s antics before accepting her offer to finally stand again. “Fine.” He stated with a small smile. “We’ll just focus on food for now and go from there.” Still, as Kyril expressed her love the ranger simply moved forward to capture her lips with his own for a tender kiss. “I love you as well.” Nothing would go wrong this time around. Jhin refused to ever lose Kyril again and this time their family would stand strong against any opposition so that their child could grow up in peace.
