A deep breath was taken in and then let out as she thought about the choices she had as far as weapons went. "Honestly, I'd like to try a bow." Alizeh didn't think close quarter combat was her thing. She wasn't violent enough to really fight with anyone. Nor did she have the muscles needed to swing around a big weapon. Perhaps if she could get good enough with a bow she'd never have to worry about finding someone's weak spot.

She inclined her head then moved so that the staff she held was put on the ground and used more like a leaning stick. "A bow is a good choice. Not one we can start practicing with at night though." She motioned toward the sky and the very obvious lack of sunlight.
"We can start tomorrow with that if you'd like." She arched a brow at her daughter to be sure that was alright with her.

Some relief flooded through her body and she nodded her head. "I'd like to try it." Ali felt like if she hadn't picked one of the two weapons used by her mothers then she'd be a failure to them. Always forgetting how understanding they were when it came down to things. Of course Ali was always worried about disappointing them. She wasn't like the other Elaria most the time. After all, she happened to like the earthlings and even spoke to a few on occasion.

"Alright. Grab your practice weapon. We can pick this up tomorrow after lunch." She nodded at the wooden sword that lay discarded on the ground. She wasn't going to force her daughter to continue now if she was that upset and didn't like the weapon she was using currently. "Oh, and you are telling your mother that you don't like swords." Here she smirked, knowing full well that Ali would whine about that.

She nodded her head and moved toward the practice sword so that she could scoop it up off the ground. When Alizeh heard her mother say that she had to tell her Mata she went wide eyed. "Oma! That's cruel!" Having to let Pruu know that she sucked with a sword was just asking to make her poor Mata upset that she didn't take after her. "Meanie!" She grabbed her weapon and hurried over to her mother's side with a pout.
