She hissed a bit when her mother pushed down on her hand. One eyes closing with the pain as she grit her teeth together. Alizeh wanted to pull her hand away at first but knew she had to stay still.
"Not dizzy, just hurts right now." And she was worried that she was too late on getting to her mother. But she knew logically if that were the case her mother would be freaking out and rushing her to a healer instead of taking her time to clean her hand.

She nodded her head, thankful that her child hadn't felt the effects just yet. It would make things a bit more difficult if she had to worry about catching her before she was finished with cleaning her hand. "Good, good. I do expect you to have a fever soon. The venom will get to act before the antivenom is digested but once it kicks in it'll be alright."
She finished up her task and draped the rag over the side of the bowl. Akel moved away to get another rag to dry the hand off with as well as some bandage wraps.

Worry etched over her face at that little bit of information. "Was I too slow Oma?" Alizeh was concerned about that one. If she needed to move faster next time then she wouldn't take time to regulate her heart so much.
Her eyes followed Akeldama as she moved through the house but she stayed where she was and kept her hand in the water since she hadn't been told to take it out yet. When she glanced down at the bowl she saw that the water inside of it was now a pink-ish color from her blood. Good thing she wasn't squeamish.

She got what she needed and made her way back to Ali. "No. Twenty minutes is actually pretty fast. Its just the delivery of the antivenom. It has to go through your stomach instead of your blood like the bite. It takes a bit longer but it is effective." Akel lifted her hand out of the water and dried it off before starting to wrap it.
"When I'm done here I want you to lay down. I'll keep an eye on you to make sure it works but you need to rest." Akel also didn't want her to be on her feet when the dizzy spell hit.

When it was explained to her it made more sense. So she nodded. Of course she let her mother take her hand out of the water and do what was needed to get it all dry and wrapped. "Alright Oma, I can do that." Laying down was easy enough. It would also help her if she had her favorite blanket to cuddle up with.
She waited until Akel was finished them smiled at her mother and went to her room to lay down. Though she did wish her twin was around to hug onto too.
