Personality: Ari deeply cares for his family and friends, although sometimes his well-intentioned actions can have consequences (such as in Aysu & Kavi's case). While at first he seemed like a regular fox thrown into the position of running a tribe, he's grown into his position of Elder over time. He's calm, as his mood says. He also loves kits, and would be a carer if he weren't already an Elder.
Biography: Ari met Kazuki when they were both young, and the two planned to start a tribe together. However, they ended up falling in love, and starting a life together as well.
Shortly after Ari became an Elder, he accidentally had kits with a vixen whom he had never met before. The vixen, Heartbreak, took their daughter Twilight to live with her, while Ari was left to raise Sigal in the tribe. Since Sigal was diurnal like her mother, Ari had to adjust his sleep schedule to match hers, and thus lived somewhat apart from the tribe for a while. He still feels guilty about this, but does not regret it, as otherwise he would have missed out on being a presence in his daughter's life.
Sigal left the tribe nearly as soon as she was grown, which saddened Ari greatly, but he understood that the tribe was not the best place for her, nor somewhere that would make her happy, and so accepted her decision.
He has only seen his other older daughter once or twice, the most recent time being when she introduced her mate to him, and announced her pregnancy at the same time (news which Ari did not take well delivered all at once).
Eventually Ari and Kazuki managed to have children together as well. They decided to raise the kits away from the tribe, so that the parents could devote their attention to their children.
Shortly after their kits were grown, Kazuki was called away on a mission by the Moon Fox, and he took three of the children with him. Ari missed the half of his family greatly, but he had to accept it as the will of the Moon Fox.
Until the news came that Kazuki had been killed on the mission. News that nearly destroyed Ari.
It took months before he could function again, and years before he could accept the news. Now he has moved on from his grief, but not from Kazuki: although he has tried to date again once or twice, nothing has come of it. And while Ari would dearly love to have his mate back, he is content now to be a widower.
Currently he is focused on issues in his tribe, such as Rendo's second unmating, as well as a personal issue: reconciling the gap between him and his children with Kazuki.

Personality: Despite her heavily modified appearance, Rina is a very proper fox, which comes through in her formal manner of speaking. She is respectful of others, despite her status as an Elder.
She is a deep thinker as well. Sometimes her thoughts wander into the philosophical; others may focus on analysis of practical matters, making her seem rather astute at times. She is a wanderer at heart, and explored the land for some on her own before founding a tribe for fellow wanderers.
Biography: Ari adopted her as his younger sister when she was still a kit, and he not much older. Once she was grown, Rina separated from her brother for a time, as she did not wish to join his tribe, and would rather wander to find her place. She shortly came to the conclusion that wandering was her place; she greatly enjoyed her single nomadic status for a while as she explored the world and had many great adventures in it. It wasn't until years later that Rina formed a tribe, somewhat at Ari's suggestion, as he felt she was "born an Elder". Despite their early near-parental relationship, the siblings are very much equals as adults, and fellow Elders.
She's had kids with two different foxes; crack-breedings both times. Despite having 9 kids, Rina still has no mate. But perhaps that could change in the future...

Personality: One could perhaps say that Sigal had a very extended kithood, as she did not really seem to grow up until she had kits with her mate, Ame. Even so, she is still an energetic, outgoing, and chipper fox--she's just less hyperactive than she used to be, and slightly more mature, now that she has a (rather large and extended) family to take care of.
Biography: She spent her kithood with her father, Ari, in his tribe, Lunarie. As she is diurnal, and the rest of the tribe nocturnal, this caused quite a few problems for her. Her father changed his sleep schedule so he could keep an eye on her, but that was nearly all of the social contact she had growing up. As such, she grew to see the Lunarie Tribe as a sad and lonely place, somewhere she didn't want to stay.
She met her mate Ame a little after that, and the two quickly fell in love. The pitter-patter of little paws took much longer, however, between bad luck, and Ame disappearing for an extended period of time at one point.
But now they finally have 5 children, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchilrden...and the family keeps on growing, much to Sigal's pleasure (although it's best to not remind her she's a great-grandmother, as that makes her feel old, when most of the time she feels anything but).

Biography: She spent only a little time with Ruby in Akumu (a tribe which never quite got off the ground) before hearing about a tribe made of artists. She left her first tribe in the hopes of joining that second one, the Sanguine Syndicate. However, she was still new to art at that time, and did not want to try to join until she had figured out what her particular style of art was.
She waited too long though, and the collective disbanded before she could even attempt to join. She then spent a while lost and wandering. She spent this time talking to other foxes--including one of the Kousetsu Elders, Loki--trying to discover what her art was.
Eventually, word reached her of a new city tribe, which, while not as artistically-focused as the Syndicate had been, nevertheless welcomed artists. With a new direction in life, Vogue headed towards the new city tribe in hopes of joining.
By the time she reached it, she had discovered her art...and a quite lovely and fascinating vixen by the name of Shaezelle as well...

Personality: If someone were to try to sum up Kalevi in a word, they might settle on "paranoid"; "cautious" or "anti-social", if they were feeling charitable. He allows nearly no one to get close to him (either physically or emotionally); Furii is the only exception to this.
Biography: He was originally born into the Elementum Gens tribe, and became the elemental leader of the earth foxes. He, as is the same with the other elemental leaders, is the last of his kind in the tribe, as all of the others killed each other in the tribe's constant civil war.
He has an extreme hatred of the other elemental leaders, as they are responsible, one way or another, for the death of all of his people: his family, his comrades, and everyone else. He hates the tribe Elder as well, for her constant interference in a matter which doesn't concern her; only the tribe guardian escaped his hatred, as it had arrived recently and thus he was indifferent to it. He was equally indifferent to Lin: Pangaia claimed that she belonged to the element of Earth, which is the only reason why he does not view her as an enemy.
Still, he is cautious of the kit, not knowing how much he can trust the judgment of the recently arrived Elder.
But shortly after the arrival of the Elder, the tribe disbanded, and Kalevi left the Elementum lands, since there was no longer any reason for him to stay there.
By accident, he came to a desert and got lost in it. When he was near death from exhaustion, he was rescued by Conundrum, Elder of Solarie, and the Elder brought Kalevi back to tribe lands. Kalevi regarded the Elder and his actions with suspicion, but was too weak to refuse the offered help.
Even after he had recovered, Kalevi did not leave the tribe lands, and eventually became a member of it, although he remained apart from the main tribe life. The only exception to this was Furii, the only fox to break upon his self-imposed isolation. She was the only fox whom he would let break in.
The two grew close, and eventually had kits, although on accident. Kalevi never thought he'd be a father. Yet, after spending time with his kits (especially Calanthe) he is warming up to the idea somewhat.

Biography: As a kit, she seemed to be a more toned-down version of Pink Mommy, but she seems to have only gained energy as she grew. She met Rickrack in her mommies' meadow, and the two quickly became friends who shared everything, from words to families. From there, it seemed only natural (to them) that they should become mates as well.
A little after their mating they found a BCR. They watched over the kit (whom they named Nena) until she became an adult. And then some time after that, they had their own kids as well, to whom Lee is much more of a friend than a parent. The end.

Personality: While she used to have an attitude that could match the best of them, she seems to have calmed down somewhat after having found her mate. Now it takes nothing less than a threat to her family to get her riled up--but then again, what Arian considers a threat, and what a normal person would, can be entirely different...
Biography: She's a 'deva, just like daddy, and even in her BCR, she seems to have picked up on some of his attitude already...
Since she was from a crackbreeding, her mother and father divided the kids among themselves. She was in the group that were raised with Mom. Arian and Rina pretty much nearly never saw eye to eye on anything; Rina tried to give her children a good education in "classical" matters, self-discipline, propriety, and self-reliance. Arian only ever cared about the last one, and as such, hated her time under Mom's care with a passion. She dealt with this by trying her best to torment her younger brother Caolan (difficult, considering how unflappable/indifferent he is at most times), and by dreaming about how she would go to Daddy once she grew up, and how life would be better there, since he (in her mind), would be more sympathetic to her.
As an adult, she's got an attitude to match her nature as a 'deava: the only person she cares for is Daddy, despite his...distaste, shall we say, for her. Her encounter with Ithica--a female 'daeva, and the first fox she met outside of her family--simply served to confirm that, and the two split on poor terms.
And then along came Jumoke.
Arian had wanted a modi as a pet since nearly as long as she could remember, and Jumoke fit neatly into that mold. Perhaps even too neatly; at first, Ju was ready to do nearly anything on Arian's whim. But now they have become somewhat more "normal"--while Arian still calls Ju pet, and Ju calls Arian Mistress, the two are nearly like normal mates. The Mistress/pet dynamic is still there, but much fainter than before.
And now the two have had kids. While Arian never particularly wanted kids, Ju did, so Arian agreed to go along with it. Arian is far from the most maternal fox ever, but she's putting in effort for Ju's sake, and taking on a nearly paternal role for the kids.
For the future, Arian wants her children to grow up well (she's fairly confident in this happening) and for Daddy to come to like her (which she doesn't hold much hope for, but still wishes for. And even if he remains lukewarm to her at best, she still cares about him.)
She and her family have ended up in a blood feud with the family of Deimos and Dakari. While the argument started between the kits Deimos and Iskinder at first, Arian swore revenge against Dakari for daring to raise a paw against Isk--it's impossible to convince her that the adult wasn't trying to use his superior strength to crush her son beneath his paw.
Thankfully, however, it seems the two families are not destined to meet again...
In the meantime, Arian and Jumoke had two more children, Pryderi and Channary, and the family seems to be doing well, for the most part. The end.

Biography: Caolan had the misfortune of having grown up in the half of the family that contains Arianrhod. His older sister spent most of their childhood poking and prodding at him, and generally tormenting the taciturn Caolan, doing whatever she could to get a rise out of the stoic fox.
Thus, as soon as he was of age, he left his mother and the rest of his family, and set out to find somewhere where he could find somewhere far away from other foxes, and live out the rest of his days in peace, quiet, and solitude. Unfortunately for Caolan, things didn't quite pan out that way.
First he met a strange masked fox, who went by the name of Yabetz. Yabetz is obsessed with mythological figures, and eventually came to the conclusion that Caolan was a changeling. Of still greater importance, Yabetz is seemingly incapable of taking a hint, that Caolan would rather be left alone. Or perhaps he is like Arian, and also enjoys getting under Caolan's skin.
But later, Caolan ran into a fox who was more like himself. This fox had the name Tamotsu, and seems to be as reserved and anti-social as Caolan. Perhaps the two will be a good fit for one another...
Yet it seems that Caolan' doesn't get a happy ending in his fairy tale: Yabetz has shown up again, this time with his mate in tow. And worse, they've shown up on the territory that Caolan has claimed for his own. Whatever happens here, it can't end well.

Personality: Compared to the rest of her (immediate) family, she's not that talkative or outgoing--she seems to take after Little Daddy more than Big Daddy, or possibly even 'Grandmama Elder Rina' as she and her siblings call her. She's more formal, and more versed in manners than her other siblings (or more so than Jadeite, at least) as well, and will occasionally remind them to behave themselves, despite being one of the younger children.
