Hmmm, what DID she know of Reina. Like her Momma said she and Nicias have been friends for a long time. Maybe she should ask Nicky...no, this gift would be from her and her alone!! Hmmm, her lips pressed in concentration. She didn't wear many fancy clothes so a new outfit was out. Hana knew she trained a lot but couldn't remember if she had chosen a weapon and Hana didn't want to buy a weapon she would never use, that wouldn't be thoughtful like her Momma had suggested. JEWELRY. She thought suddenly. "Miss Reina wears jewelry! Can we get her something new?" Hana asked her mother.

The woman waited patiently on the side of the street as people wandered past them giving small nods of polite greeting while keeping their distance. It was pretty neat to watch the expression on Hana's face as she came up with her whole solution. Jewelry was a good idea. Even if she didn't wear it all the time with the closeness of the girl to Nicias she would undoubtedly be in a situation in which she would need some nice jewels. "That sounds like an excellent idea! Tell me what you're thinking and I'll get us to the right kind of jeweler!" Nae was proud of her daughter for working this out on her own.

Her excitement increased when her mother consented to her idea. "OKAY SO…" Hana excitedly started explaining how she wanted to order a set for Reina. Reina always wore a little circlet type thing so Hana wanted to get her a new one except with the emeralds that her family tended to wear. She also explained a pretty golden armband with emeralds set in it as well as a few other small pieces.

It was a good thing that Hanaeko had been born a princess because the girl had expensive tastes. Yet, the young girl had little concept of money and so she didn't realize the enormity of what she wanted to give as a gift. As she had told her though, there was meaningful reason behind all the pieces and Naevius knew and appreciated Reina and her family enough that she didn't balk at what would likely be the bill. What did surprise her a little bit is which one of her children wanted to give this kind of gift. It was no matter though. Naevius nodded and started leading them through the market. She knew just the jeweler!

Hanaeko practically skipped alongside her mother after she agreed on her plan for her gift. When they got to the jewelers, Hana asked for a piece of paper where she carefully drew out her ideas. They weren't the most detailed as she was still just a little kid but the drawings along with her explanation helped the older man to know just what she wanted. "It won't take too long right??" she asked worriedly. The man chuckled, "It will take some time as you want quite a few pieces for your friend. But I'll work as hard as I can, okay little Princess?" Hanaeko rewarded him with a beaming smile and a nod. She couldn't wait for her gift for Reina! Now to get her Momma to do some shopping for herself!!
