"Don't be sad." Myra and Jhin approached at the same time with food and drinks. Without much care the pair of rangers sat on the stone floor and crossed their legs to be more comfortable. "I know you aren't as barbaric as us, dear." Myra teased her husband, "But it truly is warmer over here." She pat the ground next to her before handing a cup of tea towards Kyril. "If anything I know we're delighted for you. You've been so great with my niece and nephew that I'll gladly do what I can in helping with your child." A gleam of amusement crossed her expression and Jhin found his cheeks flushing as he scooted closer to Kyril. "Or children. The more the merrier I say. I cannot wait until your aunt comes back! She'll be delighted."
Jhin could only shake his head. "Here's hoping." He glanced towards Kyril and watched as she took a careful drink. "We will all be here for you and the little one. Votrene is willing to come over once a week or more for checkups if you'd like." How was she feeling? She seemed better than before...Jhin could only imagine considering the butterflies in his own stomach that rose at the idea of being a father.

"Thank you both so much." Kyril finally managed as she set her tea cup down. "I trust you to take care of me." She closed her eyes against the tears that threatened to overwhelm her once more. "I just hope I don't disappoint everyone's faith in me." She took another sip of tea as she tried to calm her nerves. She was going to be a mother….a mother!

"In us." Jhin replied quietly. "You're not alone, Kyril." He promised her and both Myra and Votrene nodded in agreement. Relief washed over him as he recognized the support from his Aunt's childhood friends and even Kyril seemed to be feeling better. It seemed their plans to figure things out was spiraling in a new direction but he wasn't unhappy. If anything he was curious about what their child would be like, an idea that floated through his mind as they spent the next bit of time with the others talking before the fire and sharing snacks.

Kyril smiled as she talked with everyone. It was nice knowing that she had support here. I'll find a way to tell my family...eventually. She had no intention of cutting them out but Kyril wanted to take time to figure things out for herself without completely relying on them. This was her path and she would find her way with Jhin. Even when Myra and Votrene left she found herself resting against Jhin and even allowed him to carry her upstairs to the bedroom. "You're babying me again." She protested even though there was a smile on her lips as she sat on the bed. "So...boy or girl? Names? What do you think? You'll have to eventually visit Matori as well…" Oh gods there was so much planning to do! What if she had twins like her mother? Kyril found her gaze widening at the thought as she looked towards Jhin. "Seems we always have some sort of surprise waiting for us."

"Prepare to get accustomed to this." Teased Jhin as he pulled a blanket over Kyril's legs. "I'm glad though that you're feeling better. Everyone is supportive and I'm not leaving you." He promised before sitting down on the bed next to her, the flurry of sudden questions making reality hit him. They were having a child...Jhin let out a breath before nodding. "I suppose we'll see with time. I'll visit Matori whenever you would like." He promised as he stayed with her until she fell asleep again so that he could go take care of a few more things before returning so that he could sleep as well.
There was a lot to do for the future but Jhin was for once actually looking forward to things again. He just hoped that Kyril's family would be happy with him and not murder him for all of the changes his presence had brought to her life. If anything he felt that they were both changing each other and Jhin wasn't upset at that. The hybrid woman with such a feisty attitude had definitely returned a part of himself that he had thought lost and he would be forever grateful to her for that.
