He gave another nod of his head to the skirt comment but didn't say anything else to justify it. He'd already heard from his older brother that a skirt might not be best for a boy. Visha didn't care. He could wear shorts or something underneath it if it was that big of a deal but he wanted the skirt.
As the Alk pointed out that his mother needed the attention drawn to her as part of her craft he seemed to furrow his brow a bit. It made sense the more he thought about it though. Dancing required people to watch. Having shiny things on so people noticed helped with that. If the Alk was trying to be stealthy then she wouldn't want people to notice. "Oh.." This time his eyes went to the ground as he thought more about it.
The boy chewed on his bottom lip a bit as thoughts went through his head. "Still think a tight dress would work. Maybe in black or dull earth tones." He brought his eyes back up to her. "The red stands out just as much as shiny stuff does." It was eye catching.
