He waved his tail he seemed much happier now then before he trusted this male more and more..he wounderd if he would grow up looking big just like him one day..
" You know that you are big...you think i ever get that big as an adult? "
He was so curious on everything but Muroki seemed ok..and his female was probably ok too..but she wasn't here but if he followed Muroki he would probably meet her soon too..

"Probably. Maybe even bigger. I'm average sized, but I've known other adults both bigger and smaller."
The ringed tail flicked back and forth once more, and his stomach growled though he did not. This cub would be easy prey, of course, and some repressed instinct reminded him he was not Kigao's father - but Muroki's personlity swiftly dismissed such a thought.
"When you're grown, wandering could become fun. Hunting too...would you mind if I left you for a while now, for I need to catch my next meal - unless you'd like to come along?"

Kigao looked really worried when he said the he was going to leave..his green eyes actually looked really worried he didn't want to be left alone at all...not anymore
" Umm well i can come with you...if u want to drag around with a baby? "
He smiled a little and waved his tail..maybe hunting and wandering would be more fun when you grow up after all Muroki seemed to have fun..

Golden eyes blinked - he was sure Kigao just ran two sentances together or mixed up I and you or something of that sort. But what did it matter, it was an affirmative, right? Muroki was pleased.
"Come on then Kigao...lets go fine us some dinner." He got up and started away, pausing to let the cub fall into step with him. "You can stay with me as long as you'd like."

Kigao looked really happy his hole face shine up and the little cub just got new hope he didn't like loneliness at all so this was so great...he puffed Muroki's leg with his face a little maybe like a thank you.
" Ok that sounds good...so your hunting skills are good then? "

"You kidding? I was worrying the hares when I was only a little bigger than you...'course I never managed to catch them, but I still tried, in the hope I wouldn't be eating vulture scraps again."
The dusky pink nose wrinkled in disgust once more. Now he was the one doling out scraps to the birds, rather than the other way round. And if Kigao'd let him, he'd love to make sure the pale cub never had to go through that. He nudged his shoulder lightly; an invitation to affection.
"I can catch us something. You just stick with Muroki, you'll see."

He continued to look up at Muroki he could probably catch hares and even bigger animals then that, he wounderd what he was thinking off when the large male wrinkeld his nose..Kigao actually imitated him wtihout knowing it but that what was young cubs did imitated the adult.
" Oh ok that sounds great! "

Muroki headed towards his mother'd gravesite, offering up prayers and plucking a flower on the way to lay in the hollow where he'd hidden her skull. This'd be a good vantage point for the cub to watch the hunt - and Muroki'd be able to see him above the grass. Seemed like a good plan to him.
"Hold still a moment..." He slowly picked up the cub to place him on the rock, making sure Kigao could see his intentions. "Stay here - watch the hunt if you will - I'll be back soon."
And with that he dissappeared to hunt nearby; asking the spirit of his mother to watch of the pale cub while he was gone.

Kigao holded still and didn't made a sound at all when Muroki lift him up..now he felt even smaller why was he so small..but all babies was so small..
" Ok i stay here and watch then "
He looked curiously after him...then he sat down on the rock and took a good seeing position he had never seen a hunt at all it could be really intressting...his stomach was nagging after food too so this was a good point off time..

It took the young ex-Dawnwalker a while to catch their meal, two young hares; this was not a good spot for larger game. Muroki carried them by their hind legs then dropped the leverets by the rock. He puffed out a breath...young enough to be tender and unwise, but old enough to put on some chase rathe rthan just laying there.
"Here, Kigao."

Kigao was amased by Muroki how did he end up to know everything? maybe that is what you are suppose to learn before you grow up...he wiggles his ears and tail when Muroki got back and jumped down from the stone.

He was still so used to the milk he got from his mother not meat...he had small teeth but he hadn't really used them yet...but he decided to give it a shot and tried to get a bite from one off the hares.

Oh. He'd been lucky in that respect, he'd been on solids a while before Kwaheri died. Ripping away the fur on the second hare with his teeth, then pulling apart some of the meat, he nosed that one towards the cub.
"That might be easier going..." He was kind of concerned about this who milk issue.

He sniffed a little on the bite Muroki gave him..when he tried himself that skin was so thick it was hard to rip off with his small teeth...he put the little peice off meat in his mouth he was more licking it then shewing it but he manadge to get down the peice off meat after a while..

High on the 'eew' factor, but if that's what it took, the tan lion'd do it. He knew no lionnesses that had cubs recently, and even if he did they'd be rogues - less likely to feed a random cub than a pridal female. So getting Kigao onto solid meat was important.

He tried to shew more and more it felt easier after a while it was actually good but still wierd...why did you go from milk to this kind off food...Kigao couldn't understand that..
" Why can't we drink milk all the time...this food is just weird "
He ate some more but it took a while before Kigao's stomach was full he had been out off food almost a hole day, but now he felt happy and full..
" Thank you Muroki! "
He smiled happily and waved his tail...the cub then snugged the adult males leg like another thank you.
