"Mmhm!" She gave her response as she lightly sipped on the tea. As her mother motioned for them to leave she moved in that direction. She got what she came for so she was more than pleased.
With a small giggle she looked at her mother. "It wasn't that bad, was it?" Ali didn't think her mother hated making the trip as much as she complained she did. In truth she thought Akel enjoyed coming to town sometimes.

"No, but we do need to get home before Pruu has my hide." She smirked at her daughter then. It was still a bit of a sore subject with her wife. Being around earthlings wasn't something Pruu was all that comfortable with yet. Not even after their trip to see her sister and their nieces. It was a work in progress.
"We might stop by the pond on the way home though." She wanted to see if any of her traps had caught some fish. She could bring them home and make dinner so that Pruu wouldn't have to worry about it.

She didn't argue. She knew her mother would freak out if she thought they were in town all day and something could have happened.
"Oh, the pond?" She asked with some curiosity. "What for?" Were they going to go swimming or something? She took a sip of her tea and looked toward her mother with one brow raised.

"I want to check the traps I have there. If there are fish in them then we can bring them home and make dinner." Akel said off hand. She wanted to do something nice so that her wife wouldn't have to be stressed about stuff.
"How fast can you walk while drinking?"

So her mother wanted to do something nice. She was okay with that. When the question about how fast she could walk came up she grinned. "Lead the way Oma!" Alizeh was pretty good at multi-tasking. She was sure that she'd be able to keep up even if her mother ran.
