It came out more like a hiss than words, and Anser felt the anger she was trying to keep at bay begin to boil under the surface. What she had said to that captain with the bowl haircut, the fact that she was trying to stop him from ******** up anyone else -- it rang scarily true at that moment, scarily true as she found herself looking at the face of someone who had been ******** up, so recently--
"Chaos has hurt so many I know," she gathered her arms closer to her body, bouncing on her toes as a way to expel some of the nervous and angry energy she felt returning as the adrenaline of running faded. "You. My brother. Countless others. Taking memories and lives away from people is cruel and unusual and they're a scourge on the face of this goddamn universe."
Anser wanted to wipe them all out.
She understood there may be some worth saving. She wasn't sure if that was her responsibility.
"Chaos needs to be gone. It needed to go yesterday."
