Waru shook his head in response to the question, then sighed, looked to the sky with an expression that begged reprieve. All the things he put himself through for people he liked. Eliot was so damned syrup sweet about the whole thing - right down to his dimples and grin. Waru knew he was caught out, was loathe to admit that he wouldn’t be any sort of boy moves on the dreaded dance floor - would probably spend most of his time on his a** even….

“Yeahhh…alright, it’s a deal.” Exaggerated whining and dragging of feet that followed. “You’re all sorts of lucky that you’re as cute as you are. I don’t fall on my a** for just anybody.” Self depreciating chuckle that followed - eying Eliot with wonder at the fact he’d get to see the boy show off a little, all out in his element. Easily reaching for him once he was ready. He was not going to baby deer himself into standing, he could ask for help. “I’m trusting you with all sorts of precious cargo here-“

Eyeroll for that, which belied the soft blush across his features as he was led along. Feeling very much like Bambi indeed - twitter-pated and wobbly - led along on wheeled legs that he had no clue how to steady without dragging or sliding forewords with frustration.

Luckily he had Eliot as his guide in all this. Held onto his hands eagerly as his eyes flashed between the boy in front of him and the swirling bodies across the floor before him.

"Yeah, no, yes?! Just uh - I'll follow your lead here, parkour king." out of his depth but loving it, the way his heart beat a little faster. The way everything before him was something new and exciting and a little bit scary. He was never ready for the things he got himself into. Far better to let Eliot drag him into the fray then stall out on figuring everything out for himself.

Embarrassment and chagrin, Waru hid it with a laugh and buried it under the joy of getting to lean on Eliot a little - and the Bambi monicker had him stifling a giggle for how damned adorable the tease of it was.

He sure as hell felt like Bambi - hugging the wall like a granny on stilts with wheels - he wasn’t made for this. Watching everyone else glide seamlessly about like figure skaters.

“Gonna have my back the whole time then? I’m game for that.” Glee at keeping Eliot close a little while longer while he got his legs and bearings under him. Pulled himself along the wall wobbly and hilarious.

The breath he released as he released the wall. A huff of noise that was a laugh choked on surprise for gravities pull against his limbs and suddenly being in motion. “The pushing!? Why with the pushing - no - no - no!” eek of panicked sound, as he overacted dramatically, had some ******** fun with it because he was made for gliding though water or air, but not gliding on his feet!

Windmilled his arms as he let go, felt hilarious for panicking over the slow dry glide of the wheels over the surface of the rink. Nearly fell for all that he tried to keep from overbalancing himself. Did a poor job of it as he did his best impression of a tree bending in high winds.

"Hah! Can't I just be like, the rose to your jack, uh, titanic style? I'd look real good with your arms around my waist?" bold cheeky grin as he wibbled and wheeled in place, clung just a little bit to Eliot, ineffable cheer etched into his grin as he got steady, marveled a little at how Eliot managed to move without doing hardly anything. Feet for wings his boy had.

"Pulling sounds fun? Like,see, then I can kinda watch you, and uh..." easier to grip him there, and that felt better. Having something a little more solid to hold onto while Eliot showed him the ropes. "I'll get to look into your eyes too." Liked the idea of that much better, seeing Elliot up close, and focusing right there, letting his friend eat up his vision so he didn't have to worry about looking down at his feet, or around at other people.

Laughing and sweating and tired. Pulled through and pulled along. All in all, it ended up being a good time? He'd enjoyed it even - even for how his a** was surely phreaking bruised in some places, he had enjoyed it.

Getting to see his boy show up and show off, show him a good time. "Yuh, true - but also ow! Your way too limber for being soo damned tall sweets, consider me jealous." amorous, pleased soft smile that etched his face.

"How about..fffth..how about we get outta here...got an idea for places on the way, snacks n things, cheaper n' here for sure." would get Eliot to talk more, to go in maybe, on how he was so good at what he was good at. Knew so little about the man. Would work on it on the walk out - maybe to his place..

Maybe invite him over for future promised movies...who knew where it'd all lead, so long as it led to fun.
