"Ma..chines..." Luleta pursed her lips thoughtfully. Such talk wasn't common in her life, and the concept was difficult to wrap her head around. Fascinating, but difficult. "I would love to see one some day, but to actually ride on one?" She pressed her lips, tensing up at the thought. "It.. sounds like it would be cool, but to trust a flying machine powered by fire?"
Mention of the boat made her laugh. "Yeah, the boat ride isn't very fun either. I think I trust it more than being up in the clouds, though!"

[ 9 / 10 ] Nayyara blushed and took a moment to slow things down. She forgot that the sisters here didn't often get out to understand the world around them, at least not until very recently.
"Sorry, yeah...they are an earthling thing...they use magic and resources to do tasks. It's very..." She trailed off with a long hum before shrugging, "I haven't seen it myself...they don't have them in Kahikina."
"Yeah...we've got a few more rides before we finish up the trip...apparently the trip between Yael and Kahikina is one of the longest."

She cocked her head, wondering what it was that Nayyara couldn't describe. Magic and resources and fire all to make a boat fly in the air? Machines certainly sounded like complicated things. "What about the ones that made them and fly them. Did your mother happen to meet them at all? Were they okay after the crash? And how many were there?"
Yes, she was definitely curious now.

[ 10 / 10 ] She was happy that someone was interested in her stories. And not just asking about who she was, where she came from, and why she was so different. While she was used to youngling and their curiosity, the past few weeks had been very trying and she was excited to move on the mainland.
Glancing around quickly, she still hadn't caught sight of her mother, and decided they had time, so she settled closer with her new friend.
"Well, I only know what I've heard, and apparently not a lot of people saw it. My auntie was there too, though I don't talk to her much now that she has younglings. But I'll tell you everything I know."
She grinned, "The name is Nayyara by the way. It's really nice to meet you...now let's see...I don't think my mother met them but she said they were just earthlings like the others...though some had markings similar to Aishans..."
She began to tell her stories to her new friend, glad to have found someone to have some fun and pass the time with until she had to go.

This girl seemed to have a lot of stories to share, and the prentice was eager to listen. If only Ali was there; her sister would have loved the stories. She would have to pay extra attention in order to share them later. Ali would be so jealous! Oma might like the tale as well! Mata... maybe. That would depend on her mood.
"I am Luleta," she greeted back, settling down for some good story listening. "It's nice to meet you, too."
