"Mmmhmm." Katori nodded. "Can make some steamed coffee or cocoa with that in the winter." She could already imagine the happy warmth that would spread throughout her body whenever they made such drinks during the colder months. Such things kept her lively during the freezing weather and definitely helped to entice the younger ones to sleep in the evenings. Though her mind completely halted at Teagan's words and the woman found herself blinking. "Kuno did what?" Already? Were the boys getting that old already? Not that they were too much younger than she was but still there was a few years in between and she.....well she was really slacking, wasn't she? The very thought brought a chuckle to her lips especially once she heard Teagan's explanation. "I see."
After another moment she found herself moving over so that she could pick up a broom and start sweeping around the stall while Teagan worked to help a bit. "I guess that means we can spend more time together while I take a break from traveling as well. Anything in particular that you would like to do while I'm around? Maybe travel through some of the older trails or visit one of the neighboring villages?" Katori mused with a small grin. They couldn't let the boys have all the fun after all!

Teagan couldn't help the excitement that rose with the idea of more time with her cousin. "Yeah! We could even take a tent to stay out overnight and go further than usual." She was used to traveling, but to make a trip with someone other than her parents and brother was a tempting offer. She was always around them, so a girl's only trip would be just the thing! ..That, and it would be a night free of stable chores. "I earned some money on the last trip, too, so I can buy stuff if we need!" She looked over the stall, giving Katori a grateful smile for the assistance in cleaning. This job would be done in no time! "When could we go?"

Katori leaned against the broom thoughtfully. "Well maybe in a few days? I have to take some time to make certain everything is settled here but I'm fine taking a few days to travel out into the mountains." It was hard to say no, especially with Teagan's obvious excitement and Katori was delighted to entertain her. Maybe they could go find some wild raptrix or something to track? It would give them something to do and let Katori teach Teagan some real survival skills while they were out. Then they could also do more fun things like star gazing and roasting sweets and spiced nuts while telling stories over the campfire. She found herself nodding thoughtfully before flashing a grin towards Teagan. "That is if this stall gets cleaned first. You have a lot of work to do before we can leave, including warming that sermal up to you so that this is easier next time."

A few days? She could wait a few days. "I can wait. I gotta make sure Branna will be okay without me anyway." Considering how they were always together, could her twin handle the sanctuary while she was gone? ...Well, surely he could, but she still needed to make sure! After all.. once she knew he was okay, then she would be okay without him.
Teagan nodded with a big grin in return. Well, until the sermal was brought up again. Her grin fell and she aimed an annoyed side-eye at the next stall. She could see the sermal hunkered down in the shadows, watching the both of them work. "Now we'll never get to go," she huffed under her breath, raking out more of the dirty hay. But, if it was the only way... "I'll try," she grumbled louder, hoping that trying would be enough since she was certain that there would be no getting through to the wild animal currently glaring at them.

A grin crossed her lips at the protest and Katori simply moved forward so that she could ruffle Teagan's hair. "You'll manage." She promised with another pat before placing her broom against the wall. It seemed like most of the work was done and she could get the sermal settled into the other stall in a bit once he had calmed down more. The hybrid glanced about thoughtfully before looking back towards Teagan. "Unless you're planning on trying to tame the sermal in one day I'd suggest some snacks in the kitchen." She winked playfully towards the youngling before starting to walk away. A good snack and nap sounded amazing right now. The very thought made the hybrid yawn as she started up towards the manor to relax.
