An untold horror disguised as man? Or maybe anything else in between? There are many different ways that Lucius has and could be referred to, yet no matter what he has always been a connoisseur of magic and mystery. With this logic in mind, Lucius has developed ways to cast Genjutsu that go far beyond the typical methods of 'Eye Contact' or 'Crazy Gang Signs'. He has incorporated his illusion into his very being, and every motion he takes as well. Due to this fact, Lucius' very existence has the chance to cast an opponent into a Genjutsu of his choosing, simply by making a gesture or speaking a word to them or even to a group as a whole. Technique Effect: When making any action, casting any jutsu or speaking in general, he can cast a Genjutsu layered onto that action using Resolve+A. This always counts towards his actions in a single post. Cost: A x 25 Chakra, added to anything he may have used ( If applicable ) Approved - RyuuTechnique Name: Eldritch Scrapper Description: There is a lot of unknowns when it comes to Lucius' very fighting style, especially since he does not appear to focus in the act of close quarters combat, nor even train in such things for that matter. Even so, when he comes to the point where he must fight in close quarters, he has managed to develop a fighting style all his own, to which appears to function akin to a taijutsu technique. This effect makes it so he continuously appears to become more and more superior to his opponent the longer they fight, in order to push the will of battle out of the opponent and force them into a surrender. Technique Effect: Strength +A, Defense +B, Speed +C, this technique functions similarly to a Genjutsu, in that he may appear stronger and stronger as he fights, through illusions. Character Name: Isidora Circe Profile Link: Cunning WitchTechnique Name: Hocus Pocus! Description: A specialized hex created by Isidora that normally contains a rather comedic effect when cast. By throwing her hands upwards with her palms facing the opponent, she exclaims "Hocus Pocus!" into the air, causing a blast of magical energy to erupt around the opponent's position, and obscure them from view. Simple seconds later, the magical energy will clear and bring the opponent back into view, now in the form of nothing more then a small green frog. While they are in this form, the opponent is completely immune to all forms of damage. They cannot be harmed, or placed into a position of harm in any way, and will stay in the form of the frog for only the following post that this technique is cast. The only real use for this technique, is the embarrassment factor. When the opponent is turned into a frog, they will fall to the ground surrounded by any article of clothing, or weapon they may be holding. This technique can be used for a quick get-away, or to stall a battle. Although Isidora normally just uses it as a fun way to play around with his opponent during battle, or to embarrass someone she doesn't like, in an overly public way. Technique Effect: Turns target into a frog. They become immune to damage, and cannot be placed into harms way. Lasts until the beginning of Isidora's following post. Spirit+A vs Opponent's Reaction Cost: A x25 Chakra Approved - RyuuTechnique Name: Omen 001: Chakra Dissipation Description: A dark hex developed by Isidora to brandish onto an enemy or target that has seriously aggravated her. After speaking the specialized incantation for the current target within her sight, she releases a surge of sinister energy around her. When effected by this energy, the target may notice an increased drain of their chakra when using techniques or simply over time in general, as this curse is placed to quickly deal with her opponent's ability to fight. Technique Effect: Spirit +B vs Opponent's DEF If successful, the opponent is drained Spirit+A x75 chakra every post, as well as any time they use their chakra for jutsu or other effects. Character Name: Arke Jonz Profile Link: The Bloody LightTechnique Name: 7 Orbs of the Sun Description: This technique, is actually that of seven small marble sized balls that he keeps somewhere on his form. With them, he may actually manipulate them at his whim. These orbs make it possible to hover around him, and be used as weapons. Each one can both create a blade or blades of light from their small forms, they can also produce light that is strong enough to thwart shadows. Though the beams are only in a small diameter. These orbs allow for all light based techniques to be able to be used through them. When under sunlight, these orbs are able to use any light based technique without Arke having to do hand seals.The manipulation of these orbs cost little to no chakra, but upon using a technique, the technique costs the normal amount. These orbs are able to be worked, anywhere within a half mile diameter of Arke. Technique Effect: Grants Control of 7 individual Orbs of Light. Light based Jutsu can be used through the orbs. No Light based Jutsu require handseals, although they cost more chakra. Damage caused through jutsu from orbs, or with orbs themselves gains Spirit +A Damage. Orbs move with Arke's Speed. Approved - RyuuCost: Controlling 7 orbs of Light: Free Casting Jutsu adds A x25 Chakra to jutsu, whether it's through orbs or without handseals in general. Attacking with the orbs costs A x25 Chakra, independently if being used for physical attacks. Technique Name: Light Pooling Description: This technique is a creation of Arke's that actually effects his surroundings where ever he goes. With this technique, everything around him that is not basked in shadow glows brightly as if it was radiating light. These pools of light work much like shadows do, allowing them to be shifted with the addition of shadows into their presence. The true effect of this technique, is to allow Arke significant patches of pure light that he may use to traverse easily through out the area. His entire body actually merging with the light, in order to allow for him to move about anywhere that there is not a shadow. Of course, since the opponent casts a shadow, he could not appear directly behind them. This technique works much like a door way, as soon as he passes into the Pool of light. He must emerge from another at the same moment. Merging with the light, is not an instant thing, and could take more then a few seconds to fully become light and then pass through before becoming solid again. The Pools of light, can only be created in every non-shadowed place within a half a mile radius of where Arke stands while this technique is active. Technique Effect: Causes all non-shadowed locations within a half mile of Arke to begin to glow with light. Allows Arke the ability to travel between lit places across the battlefield. Character Name: Thanatos Rasui Profile Link: The Dreaming BlackTechnique Name: The Black: Waking Nightmare Description: Thanatos has adapted to an all new variation of The Black, when compared to the predecessors of his family including his own father. This new variation appears to consist more solidly within the confines of a dream like state that some may consider to be like that of a Genjutsu Realm. This Waking Nightmare is a bleed out effect of Thanatos' own subconscious when under the effects of The Black. While Waking Nightmare is active, the world around Thanatos quickly begins to escalate into a dark and twisted version of itself. Not actually changing as far as layout, but instead becoming darker, ominous and exactly the way someone would perceive the world should they be stuck in a nightmare while asleep. This Waking Nightmare places those around him into a semi-dream like state where they are effected by the effects of all of Thanatos' dream based jutsu while not being entirely asleep themselves. Technique Effect: 1/2 Mile in Range Anyone who does not succeed in Spirit+A vs Perception check, finds themselves locked within the Waking Nightmare. Waking Nightmare is only capable of being activated while Thanatos is under The Black's influence. Cost: A x25 Chakra, per turn active. Approved - RyuuTechnique Name: The Black: Walking Knightmare Description: Through manipulation of the dream realms that are at Thanatos' disposal, he has come to learn that The Black has generated an avatar of what appears to be ill intent and wickedness into the dream realms when it is active. A knight themed creation of chaos will spawn up from Thanatos' very shadow, appearing to actually consume his shadow in the process. It will then charge forth to begin locking the opponent into melee combat. This knight is capable of using any taijutsu and Kenjutsu techniques that Thanatos possesses, while taking up Thanatos' actions to do so. It functions as a sinister replacement for himself during physical confrontations, and only seems to become more and more frightening the longer the opponent fights against it. Technique Effect: Creates a Knight themed NPC to fight in Thanatos' stead. The Knight and Thanatos' health are connected, as well as their chakra pools. The Knights Stats are: Speed +C Strength +A Defense +B Intelligence, Spirit and Resolve are identical to Thanatos'. I really want to see this in use. - RyuuTechnique Name: Your Damage Is Null / My Damage is Infinite Description: Due to the nature of the Death Swallower clan, Faluzure is capable of completely negating certain damages to his form during combat. These negated damage types are normally converted only into the selected properties of his own form, in order to strengthen himself in some way. Thanks to this, he primarily tends to take a passive stance when in combat, only dealing damage on a whim, and otherwise allowing the opponent's attacks to strike him in vein. Thanks to this particular fighting style, he has developed a means of causing the opponent to actually begin to damage themselves, by specifically using his own chakra to grip at their very soul itself, something that his clan also tends to be a master at manipulating. Technique Effect: When struck with a type of damage that Faluzure has Damage Absorption listed for, the opponent will receive his Spirit+A damage. This effect occurs as long as he paid the cost to negate the damage type, and his Spirit is greater than the opponent's Resolve. Cost: A x25 Chakra, per time activated. Due to the Red of her jutsu signifying her blood, the creations she makes known as Crystal Instructors are to anyone's normal glance, a standard shinobi of Sevan's own design. To those that peer closer at their forms however, will realize that they're actually an minutely detailed crystal structure to which appears to capture and reflect specific lighting in order to create the appearance of humans. With this style of jutsu, Sevan has created a set of six specialized instructors that she can summon, depending on her need. Technique Name: Fungal Symbiosis (Colony Keeper) Description: Instead of a plant-based set of powers, Ama is the guardian of a quasi-intelligent colony of mycelium, formed from countless strains and species, all assimilated into one being, which relies on Ama’s Chakra to survive. This colony is intitricately connected to Ama in inperceptable ways. The two are inseparable, a vital part of each other. Technique Effect: For all purposes, Ama’s fungi count as plants, including for techniques, abilities, etc.
The Colony has it’s own kind of intelligence, and operates separately from Ama. Ama and the Colony use eachother’s senses (the colony possesses only a sense of touch and a sense for the presence of Chakra on it’s own.), and the colony can operate without direction from Ama.
The Colony can display many different traits in it’s fruiting body(ies), drawing from all of the traits of all of the fungal bodies ever assimilated into the colony. The Colony is capable of displaying 1 trait, +1 for every 10,000 Chakra Ama has (up to 5). These traits are completely mundane, except for ones created with other abilities. Cost: 100 Chakra to form a fungal body, +100 per trait

Reavers Pending: All of them: should have some sort ot outstanding cost while active/in use based on the values applied.
Edible: Are you adding +25 Resolve and restoring +50 HP? I'd prefer to keep using the letters for the Resolve. And an extra cost for the health regain in general.
Psychedelic: Same thing. Switch to an +A, +B etc system for the positives. And apply a comparison for something vs Reaolve for the hallucinations.
I'm not sure about the regain of chakra in general. It shouldn't be entirely needed. And plus 100 Chakra wouldn't be much of anything anyway in the long term.
I already mentioned costs, so the idea can be repeated here. Either way, 100 and 50 is far too low for costs for these anyway.

5000 Chakra: Spore Cloud This fruiting body is engineered to drop clouds of spores on command. These spores serve multiple purposes. They serve as an extra tactile sense for the colony (can sense when something moves within/disturbs the spore cloud). They also can deliver a variety of effects, both positive and negative. Any effect that can be delivered through one of Ama’s mushrooms can instead be delivered on contact with or inhalation of these spores pending a comparison of Ama's Spirit +A vs. the half of the opponent's Defense+Resolve. This spore cloud is 10 feet wide, centered on the mushroom that spawns it. Costs Ax25 per use, and 1/2 that per turn Rank 2 Cloud can travel up to 100 feet from the mushroom (SPIRIT for travel speed) that spawned it. Size of cloud increases to 50 feet
10,000 Chakra: Hungering This fungus hungers for chakra. The chakra cost of any enemy technique used within 100 feet of this fungal body is increased by Ama's Spirit+A, ½ of that extra chakra is added to a pool. When that pool reaches 100 Chakra, the fungus can spontaneously mutate, getting an additional trait or adding +B to one of it’s “stats” (Such as attack power, attack speed, defense, Ama's side of a comparison, etc.). A single fungal trait is heightened for 5 posts. Costs Ax25 for the Chakra drain and Bx25 for the "stat" buff. --- RANK 2 --- Critical Mutation. As Rank1 but Mushroom gets +1d4 traits and an additional +A to one “stat” (must be different one from rank1)

Spores: Just needs a something version Defense, or something of the like. Just so it's not an auto hit as long as anyone is in the area.
Hungering: I'd rather we did the Chakra drain as something other than. Percentages. Like a Spirit+A x25 additional Chakra. With half going to a pool of chakra that causes the mutations. As well as a definition of the "Stats" referenced.
As before; all costs should follow the lettering dynamic, or be increased to a higher cost in general. You're at 5k now. But you're looking to at least go into the 100k mark. Having techniques that only cost 100 or 150, and get effects at 100 or 150. Are too low on general.

The flames do not harm the user, but provide a great advantage at hand to hand combat, and is quite useful in nature. Technique Effect: Melee attacks = Spirit + A and is considered Katon damage Cost: A x 25 Approved - RyuuTechnique Name: Katon: Kaen Torappu [Fire Release: Flame Trap] Description: After performing a set of hand seals, the user rubs both hands up together and then places their hands on the ground. Once this is complete, a sea of flames surrounds the enemies and entraps them in this ‘prison’ from which they will be unable to escape from unless they are willing to take life threatening burns. In order for this jutsu to be maintained, the user must always have their hands on the ground and be constantly supplying chakra to the prison. Character Name: Tomo Jibaku Profile Link: HereTechnique Name: Basic Gunlance Description: Tomo wields a somewhat unique weapon, a large lance that includes an integrated cannon that she uses to direct her explosions. She is highly adept at fighting with this weapon, often incorporating a large shield so she can take cover behind and take advantage of the range her weapon provides. Technique Effect: Lance itself uses STR+A for damage and gives her DEF+B. Can choose ignore one of the bonuses to increase the other (+B becomes +A), to represent focusing on either offense or defense.. Can use the barrel of the gunlance to direct the explosions created by any of her techniques. Doing this causes the damage to happen in a 45 degree cone instead of a sphere, directed away from Tomo, with the same explosion range. Tomo cannot be damaged by her own explosions used in this way, unless the technique itself specifies she must. Cost: A+Bx25 (OR Ax25 if focused on offense or defense) Reaver ApprovesTechnique Name: Basic Shelling Description: Tomo’s Gunlance is complete with a chamber. She has learned to create ammunition for her weapon, pre-made explosives designed specifically to be fired with her weapon. Needless to say, this is more effective than the typical rock bomb. Technique Effect: Intelligence+A for damage of explosions. 50 Foot cone (roughly 45 degrees starting from barrel of gunlance) Tomo’s Gunlance can hold 3 rounds before she must reload. She cannot fire any shells in the same post she reloads. Cost: Ax25/shell Reaver ApprovesTechnique Name: Charge Shield Description: Crafted from a rare alloy mined from the volcanoes of her homeland, Tomo’s shield has the unique ability to absorb the energy of the attacks that it blocks, storing it up to be released in a massive surge of explosive chakra. Technique Effect: Shield Defends at DEFENSE+A Each time an attack that costs chakra is successfully defended against using this shield, [ B ] Chakra is added to a pool of energy ( [ X ] MAX 100 ) that is stored into this shield. This energy can be utilized in a few different ways: -- [Turtling] - This energy can be channeled into the shield itself, increasing the DEF value of the shield by ½ of the X value and increasing Tomo’s resolve to defend against attacks by +B. Reduce speed by 1/2 (ONLY movement speed, not things like derived stats or whatever) [ X ] can be stored, even while defending with Turtling active. -- [Evade Lancing] - The energy can be channeled into the lance, increasing the attack power of the lance by ½ of the X Value, increase attack speed by +B -- [Wyvern Fire] - The energy is released in one gigantic blast. The damage of this blast is: If 1 or 2 Shells are chambered; Intelligence + 1/2 X Damage. If 3 Shells are chambered; Intelligence + X Damage. With a range of a 100 foot cone Cost: (A+Bx25). paid each time the energy is directed to one of the three options. Energy is maintained at it's activated level, as long as cost is paid each turn. It is unadorned, but exceptionally well-made and seemingly unblemished, untouched by the countless lives lost beneath it. Not visible or the countless micro serrations that cause grievous bleeding wounds to anyone lucky enough to make contact with the blade’s edge. When Saizo uses his blade, the battlefield becomes thick with a mist of blood from the wounds. Technique Effect: -- SPEED determines the basic damage of this weapon. It is so sharp that any contact with the edge causes injury, no matter how much pressure is applied. -- Any time this blade deals damage to an opponent, they begin bleed. Opponent loses 5+[A] HP each post for 3 posts, or until an appropriate healing technique is applied. This bleed damage can stack if multiple wounds are applied. This damage stacks with any other bleed effects, applies to any technique that uses bleed effects, and the blood can be used for blood-related effects. It is as unadorned as Saizo’s blade, dark metal with almost no decoration except for a crimson silk-wrapped handle affixed to the center of a free-spinning ball bearing mechanism. The spin can be prevented with a discreet switch on the handle. This is an effective weapon in melee and ranged combat, and holds a deadly secret. Technique Effect: -- SPIRIT determines the damage of this weapon. -- This weapon can be thrown (Speed+A for attack speed) to any location within sight, and the trajectory manipulated in transit. The weapon returns at the end of the post. -- The Kyuketsuki can absorb the blood out of the air. Saizo can absorb some or all of the mist created from Bleed stacks/applications that he has applied. Doing so reduces the perception debuff caused by the mist (because it spends the bleed stacks that formed it). Saizo can, on use of this technique, convert the absorbed blood into a buff to his own Speed, or Spirit, or Resolve at a rate of (B*Stacks absorbed). These objects are fully mundane, with no special abilities or combat applications (Exception: Xzavior can buy mundane swords and stuff like this). Technique Name: Diamond Mind Description: Xzavior’s intellect is head-and-shoulders greater than his peers in his clan, who are in turn head-and-shoulders more intelligent then their peers at the Shinobi Academy. Xzavior’s mind is like a diamond, perfect, unbreakable, and multifaceted. Technique Effect: -- (1) Can pay the cost for INT+A and RES+B for 3 posts -- Xzavior’s memory is flawless. He can remember anything he has seen/heard/etc. With perfect recall for an unlimited amount of time. -- (2) Xzavior can pay the cost to increase the stat calculations of any [Psionic] technique or Benimaru Clan technique by +C -- When Xzavior does not know something, he knows who to ask. He can gain canon knowledge about people, places, and events in the world (The guild), if given a full day to use his information channels. This knowledge cannot be related to the stats/mechanics of a person, but he can learn things about their family, history, etc. (RP stuff basically). He can learn obscure detailed history and information about a certain village or clan. He could learn if a village was attacked, even if very far away. These are some examples. Technique Name: Student of the Arcane Description: Xzavior’s exceptional intelligence makes him a prodigious student of all forms of arcane magic. Technique Effect: As long as he has visited and learned something from the related thread before, Xzavior can learn any technique he has access to (excluding Taijutsu and Kenjutsu ones) outside of their thread at 2x word count requirement (does not apply to Xzavior's CP total). If he trains in the appropriate area to learn a technique, he learns it at a normal Chakra cost.
Xzavior can waive the requirement to have visited the location before if he spends an additional 3000 words “researching” techniques used by a particular village or inspiration for them in an appropriate research area (somewhere with books). For this purpose, Research is treated like it’s own technique that does not increase CP total, and that must be learned before any other techniques from that clan can be learned without direct experience. Technique Name: Chosen of The Light Description: Tyrael is the Chosen One, Picked by The Light to illuminate which has been cast into darkness, so all may see. So all may grow. Technique Effect: -- Tyrael is capable of shedding his own light that illuminates up to 100 feet from him. This light is so bright and holy that it can blind someone with darkness in their heart (any enemy who fails a comparison of Tyrael’s SPIRIT+A vs. their RESOLVE. Blindness lasts for 1 post after light is extinguished -- Any light-based technique can have +B added to a single stat-based calculation or fixed value related to that technique if Tyrael chooses -- Tyrael is capable of performing miracles (outside of combat). The nature of these miracles can vary, but they must be RP-only, with no combat application. The further removed from combat/stats/mechanics this miracle is, the more ok. Mods may say no to any miracle performed. Miracles can only be performed on other PCs or Stat-Having NPCs with permission, but never in/for combat. Miracles can be very powerful if performed on faceless/statless NPCs (such as resurrecting a fallen NPC after several hours in a post outside of combat in the Academy) Cost: (Variable costs are the variable times 25. Technique Name: Illumination Description: The very presence of The Chosen and by extension The Light is like a spark that kindles a flame in the spirit of anyone near, a peak of divinity, a balm for the wounds inflicted by the Darkness. Technique Effect: Anyone in a well-lit area within 100 feet that Tyrael chooses enjoys a +A bonus to their RESOLVE, and a +B bonus to their SPIRIT, and becomes immune to darkness-related blindness, even magical for as long as this bonus is applied. Everyone else within the area of the effect, who is not chosen, must make a comparison of their RESOLVE vs. Tyrael’s SPIRIT+C or have these bonuses applied as debuffs
Those illuminated by this light feel a sense of both peaceful contentment, and protection in Tyrael's presence, the source of this blessed light.

Technique Name: Kindle the Flame Description: Flame was the first man-made light, Humanity’s attempt at emulating the heavens. It is their connection to The Light, a gift. Or a source of fear, to those who dwell within the darkness. It needs only to be kindled with faith. If tended and treated with respect, it is a great boon. If handled carelessly, it burns. Technique Effect: “Kindling the Flame” is a ceremonial act that Tyrael can perform to an adherent of The Light which takes at least 1 whole post.
A possessor the The Flame gets the following: SPIRIT+A, RESOLVE+B, DEFENSE+C -- Can learn the [Illumination] Technique in a weakened form. Range reduced to 50 ft, buff only applies to self. Is learned like any other technique for 2000 words but the words must be in Tyrael's presence.
If a possessor of the light shows to have darkness hiding in their heart (or Tyrael deems them unworthy of it), these buffs become unstable and can turn into debuffs at any point The Light (Tyrael) chooses, at which point the debuff lasts for 3 posts and then The Light is extinguished (all effects end)
Adherents feel a constant sense of safety and protection if in a lit area. Those have once possessed The Flame but no longer do will forever feel a sense of being watched in the light.
