The raven-haired girl couldn't help but laugh as Azura explained to a breathless Adam that the extra bag was fir him. Honestly, it was lucky they had someone like her on their team. With Ridley's own recklessness and Adam's care free, 'let's just wing it' attitude, they needed someone as prepared as her. Ridley usually managed to pack her own supplies and bring them along, but she never had the hindsight to pack up a bag for lesser prepared members of her team. Not to mention, Azura had a knack for thinking of just about every single item they could possibly need. "Did you at least remember to brush your teeth this morning?" Ridley would ask, raising an eyebrow at Adam. After a moment a playful smirk would crack her expression and she fall into a soft laugh. Really, she wasn't one to talk, considering she had been picking leaves and twigs out of her hair when she first arrived. Though, that wasn't for a lack of getting ready, just because of her lack of time after her early morning adventures.
At Adam's suggestion to split up, Ridley would glance hesitantly at their other two companions. She understood exactly why he had made the suggestion. Even though all of Team DARK were close friends, especially compared to some of the other teams at Beacon, it was no secret that Cecil had a particular fondness for Azura, and vice versa. He clearly wasn't ready to share his troubles with Adam herself, and Ridley wouldn't blame him. Healing came at a pace to everyone, and sometimes that healing needed to be done in silence, or in the quiet of one true companion Still, she noted the concern in Azura's eyes as well. It wasn't hard to guess why either. With her hands full, she couldn't exactly access her weapon easily, and they weren't exactly in friendly territory. Grim attacks were a possibility, just as the professor had warned everyone to stay on guard. Ridley seemed to debate the decision silently for a moment, weighing the detrimental state of Cecil's mind, against the possibility of hostile threats. After everyone else seemed to agree, Ridley would nod. "Shout if you need us, and we'll find you in a bit to compare what we find, alright?"
With a final glance back at a forlorn Cecil and a concerned Azura, Ridley would make her way to Adam's side. With a mischievous grin tugging at her lips, she'd poke him lightly in the side before sprinting forward, past him and away from the other teams. She was careful to give Cecil and Azura their space, but equally careful to stay with in ear shot, close enough to reach them quickly if their was trouble. After several feet, she'd stop near a tree, reaching out with one arm and swinging around it and through the sunset shaded leaves. "So, Mr. Argent, you don't happen to have a special talent for herbs and plants do you?" Golden eyes would peer at him as she racked her own brain for any limited amounts of knowledge she might have. "My mother used to make me chamomile tea when I was young." Usually when she couldn't sleep or after she'd woken from a nightmare. Those memories seemed to long ago, so distant. She remembered them with a bitter-sweet fondness. A sad smile pulled at her lips, but it was gone nearly as soon as it appeared. Pushing the thoughts away and tucking them back properly in the back of her mind and heart, she'd move onto the next subject. "I remember my uncle trying to teach me the properties of some of the forest plants... but that was so long ago. I only remember a few and I'm not sure any of them would grow here. The forest we explored was much greener."

Vincent focused on Xanthe since she was the one asking questions of him now. "Yes and no. You are free to wander and I will not be restricting what you could be looking for. I would however encourage you to not limit yourself to the ones you know. If you see something that interests you try looking it up. It may be nothing of value in which case you won't find any entry in this book as it isn't a identification guide, but if it is a useable herb then you can learn about it. I'd like everyone to leave this lesson knowing at least one new medicinal herb than then knew when they arrived. And of course anyone is welcome to consult me about an plant they find. As for what you guys do with the herb you gather it is up to up. You can keep them to use later or make them up into something." He said, elaborating a little on the instructions from earlier for her.
He then turned his attention back to Ylva as she leveled with him before the two left. He couldn't really care less what the girl though of him. He didn't need any validation from a student and likewise what he thought of her was irrelevant. The only thing that mattered in his eyes was that she at least valued the knowledge he had to share. "That is all that matters." He watched the two girls in XY leave together to start their search then panned his view around to watch the tigress for a minute. Tsukiko was moving along in a way that made him think that this wasn't her first time coming out here to look for plants. It was like she knew already where she could find certain ones. She was searching though. Perhaps it was more like she just knew what conditions to look for to find where it was likely to grow. Vincent started to relocate. Stopping once he found a fairly central location where he could also at least hear where the two pairs from team DARK had gone.

Xanthe nodded as their teacher answered her questions, from an educators standpoint she could see where he was getting at. Send the students to pick up grass and poke under logs for an hour and hope they remember the lesson. "It's not enough." She stated aloud, without thinking too much about about the ramifications of it. To her it wasn't enough to pick them and look in a book, if he wanted her to learn she was going to need a reason, a challenge. Alas he didn't seem to want to provide that challenge himself, there was no grandiose corralling of the students to find the cure for an abrasion in the fastest time or make a meal from the local flora. He had said it himself at the start, students were equipped with medical supplies and this lesson was to prepare for a survival situation or a last resort option. There was no pressure, no urgency. Sure if you had the desire to study, not learn, perhaps this was the sort of exercise that would nurture that. She sadly did not, studying was a necessary evil and she learned by doing. "I'll keep myself busy." She added to stop him from feeling the need to respond. She didn't mean to be rude, or perhaps she did since she felt she wasn't being accommodated for, but she wasn't going to apologise for how she felt.
"Really! Excellent, that gives us a lot more options." Xanthe applauded Ylva for her foresight, though decided to leave asking her why she had made a camp until they were more alone. Or at least, until their teacher made himself less visible assuming they wouldn't be really be left to their own devices, as that would be highly irresponsible. "Come on, I have an idea." She nodded towards the team that was departing and jogged after them. "Hey! Wait up!" She gave a wave in an effort to slow the others down but frankly she'd have chased them all day if they hadn't stopped. She slowed near the raven haired girl in yellow. "Xanthe, Ylva." She announced, and indicated to her partner in due course. "Look, I love hunting about in the woods as much as the next person, as long as the next person is also a fish based faunus." She grinned. "What say you to a little friendly game? Hunt to find something in the book, fastest person to find it and bring it back wins. Bonus points for extra samples?" From Ylva's comments earlier she seemed quite knowledgeable on the various plants in the area, and Xanthe was no slouch. Really it came down to if the other team thought would rise to the challenge.

"It isn't fair." Azura agreed softly. There was so much death and destruction. Mothers, Fathers, Brothers, Sisters, Sons and Daughters all died to Grimm every day. Throw a stone in Vale and you'd hit someone who had suffered a tragic loss. This was worse though, at least in Azura's mind. The petty squabbles between the Crimson Fang and The Tribe led to a riot and death. Azura was fairly sure some of those deaths were targeted. Council members with security details were unlikely random victims. A planned attack or people taking advantage? Was Mr. Roydon one of those targets? Questions she had no answers to. Questions that wouldn't help Cecil.
She tucked the textbook back into her bag. The class assignment would need to wait. Perhaps Dr. Field would come out here with them on a later date or let them submit a paper on the local herbs in Forever Fall Forest. Then she walked over and knelt on the ground next to Cecil. She wished there was something she could say or do to take Cecil's pain away. She did the only thing she really could do. She wrapped her arms around Cecil to pull him into a hug. "I know it's not fair."

"Huh? For me? I got my bag right her-!" he points to his back to see nothing. "Right here." he holds his hands up. Nothing. "Right here." he smiles as he picks up the extra bag Azura brought. With a thumbs up he starts rummaging through it. "I remember packing all of this. Yup!" he said popping the 'p' at the end. He zips it back up and throws it onto his back. He looks to Ridley as she questioned his hygiene. "What? Of course I did!" he laughed. He starts raking through the bag again. If anyone were to ask him what he was looking for he'd say, "Definitely not looking for gum." At his suggestion of splitting up everyone seemed hesitant and he was ok with that. It was expected. They were in a forest with creatures that could rip you apart in seconds. So they wouldn't be too far from each other. Nothing more than a sprints distance away. "Compare what we find? That ain't a bad idea. But you not gonna win. Obviously Team Golden Bombshell is gonna find the best plant!" he said pointing between him and Ridley. He waved his hands in front of his face in a makeshift illusionary fashion as he backs away from team Subzero Reaper. He didn't notice Ridley creep up to his side and poke him. He let out a small shrill noise covering the spot she poked with his arm. He looked at Cecil and Azura before pointing at them. "You ain't hear a thing!" he said before sprinting after golden one. "Azura is gonna do right by him!" he thought as he ran. He watches as Ridley swings around a tree. Her hair flowing behind her and a small smile on her face. She looks kinda pretty."Well in all my years of study and experimentation of flora I have made several conclusions in my educational pursuit." he says with arms cross and a wry smile. "That object you so casually use as your plaything? That's a 'tree'." he states. "And this..." he kneels, "is 'grass.' I named it myself." he says. He notices a weird looking growth. Something that looked as if it didn't belong. Out of place. "And this-!" he pulled as he was gonna think on the fly and name it, "is a 'Fl-aaaah!" he shouts as the vegetation he uprooted screeched and scratched. He shoved in back in the ground. Deeper than before it was unearthed. He covered the hole with dirt and a large rock. He stood and walked away from it as if nothing happened. "As I was saying, I do, in fact, have a talent for herbs and plants. And by 'I do' I mean't 'I definitely don't!'" he laughed. He listened to her intently. She doesn't speak about her family much, but when she does he make it a point to focus in. "Sounds like you're in charge then. Let's find some plants!" he shouts. "You're uncle sounds like a pretty ok guy." he warmly smiles at her. This is probably the first time he actively made a comment about her family and he hoped she didn't take offense by him saying her uncle was 'ok.' It truly is a compliment. "Also, what's Kamomyle?" he asked completely butchering the name. Post Count:122 Location: Forever Fall

The wolf listened, though only with half interest to the teacher. Flipping through the book swiftly, she would walk with Xanthe after the whole thing and smile a bit even with the soft clinking. Taking Xanthe's suggestion into consideration, before she would jog after the shark girl. It appeared they would be headed towards the humans as they were splitting."I guess, it should be okay."Ylva thought. Obsidian eyes looking to them as she was introduced, never really saying much, the wolf girl would follow, search and harvest. Ylva would soon go off on her own though, her nose catching a familiar scent."Garlic,"She commented under her breath before following her nose and collect a bushel or two for a soup later.

Cecil's mind was still out of it as he had been thinking too much on what had happened, that he forgot it was normal to bring a textbook to class. He soon realized his other team members were here and he had to force a small smile, he was glad that they were here.... yet why wasn't it making him feel better? He looked to Azura and was about to comment before Ridley soon asked about what they should look for first. He didn't look towards her, but her glance towards him would reveal that he was out of sorts. The bags under his eyes and the way his currently unwashed hair of yesterday hid hid his forehead and a portion of his eyes would be enough detail for her to know something was eating at his heart. He was trying to think and respond to Ridley without looking at her before he felt Adam's hand upon his shoulder. Cecil from before would wrench himself away from such a close touc.... but not this Cecil, instead he stood still, his body quivering slightly as the gesture was very sweet.... it stirred his emotions that he was trying to keep in check as Adam spoke about splitting up. Cecil was about to decline the four of them splitting up until Azura answered for him. He looked to her and nodded his head. 'Maybe for the best we keep to who we know....' He thought as he looked to the teacher who was in the middle of chastising the students for not bringing their textbooks to class.
He was trying to keep his sorrow and anger in check, his fist against the tree as he pulled his hand back, the skin not even reddened but a small amount of bark had been shattered off of the tree. He could hear Azura echoing his statement about how it wasn't fair and he nodded his head. He didn't turn to look at her, instead he proceeded to punch the tree again... and again... going harder and harder as each strike was breaking bark and wood, making the three shake it's leaves. ""I do my due diligence!" He started, his left hand's knuckles going red from his several punches as he struck the tree again his mind full of clouded thoughts on anger and revenge as he struck the tree with his right. ""My family and I are always on this path, we knew the stakes!" It was building up once more, his hands were bleeding at the knuckles and just as he brought his hands back, prepared to strike the tree one last time in an attempt to knock it down with enough force after taking out small part after small part, he felt Azura hug him from behind. He was panting heavily, his left eye's ring had started glowing while tears were welling up before he dropped his hands. His body heaved for a moment before he turned in the hug to hold Azura tightly. He didn't wail.... he wailed at home enough but he couldn't supress his sorrow as he held Azura tightly.
He lost his father.... his only remaining family now were at home, working on funeral services while he was here at school to try and continue the Roydon Legacy. His tears streamed down his cheeks while he held her tightly. ""I'm sorry..... Azura please just...." He couldn't finish his sentence with out a sudden jerk of body motions from crying, fighting the urge to wail as he shook his head and just moved closer. It was class, this was in public and yet.... here he was breaking down in the forest where others could see. He couldn't even concentrate on making his semblance turn on at this moment but now he has no way to release his pent up anger for the time being and he now wanted to remain quiet.

✱ THE DOCTOR IS IN ✱ ✱ Location: The Forever Fall Forest✱ Condition: Good ✱ ✱ Company: Class✱
Vincent leaned against the tree he had chosen to stand under. He would continue to monitor the tigress for a minute or so more. Then he would circle around the tree to a spot he could watch DARK more easily. He was going to check on Cecil and Azura first but his attention was instead drawn to Ridley and Adam when something over by the pair started to screech. With narrowed eyes he watched Adam scramble to bury something and finally push a decent sized rock over the loose soil. What did he do? Did he pull some small critter from it burrow. Whatever it had been the youth had seemingly dealt with it and the two were moving on.
With that out of the way Vincent turned his attention to the next odd sound. This one also coming from team DARK. Cecil was the source of the cracks and snapping sounds which were coming from the wood he was breaking by punching the tree. Vincent watched the two until Azura grabbed Cecil. Vincent had seen enough by then. He quickly made his way over to the pair. "Miss Knight would you take him back to the dorm. This is not the place to be working through..." A sudden and loud cracking sound of splintering wood echoed through the trees cutting off his words. Vincent directed his attention towards where the sound came from and not even fifteen seconds later a person could be seen sprinting through the trees towards them. The guy was in a panic and started screaming for help the moment he saw the class. Not ten seconds later another crack and crashing sound was heard as a large grimm broke the trunk of another small tree, toppling it into it neighbor. "Too late." He muttered before turning to call out to the others. He cupped a hand to his mouth so that ever the farthest off group would hear the call to arms. "INCOMING GRIMM!"
One of the large serpents slammed into the tree. Propelling its heavy, muscular body up the trunk even as the wood cracked from the impact. As the tree toppled over the grimm lashed out after the source of terror that was just ahead. It was close now and getting closer by the second. Soon it would be able to feed. A stones throw away a crackling of breaking twigs rang out as a second beast pushed through the undergrowth of the forest. Hungrily eating ground as it raced headlong towards the beacon of negativity that had originally drawn the pair in the first place.
The fleeing man screamed out as a foot got caught on a root. He fell and the lead creature slowed to the point of casualness as it began to slither up towards him. The grimm lifted its body from the forest floor. The rearing black head parted its jaws to reveal dozens of razor like white fangs and a flicking tongue as it settled the gaze of its red eyes upon the man, savoring its victory in the chase as it prepared to strike.
The second King Taijitu raced on. Passing up the first as it continued to close on the class. The speed of this class of grimm allow for it to quickly cross the distance even if the students did nothing to approach it in return. This one was coming white head first and its red eyes were intently focused on Cecil as it swiftly approached Azura, Cecil, and Dr. Fields' location. The moment it was close enough the black body turn and rocketed past the white, jaws wide open as it snaps at the source of negative emotion. The white head crossing in with a second strike a moment later, which would target Azura if there was no opening to Cecil around the black head.

Miss Tora had already started her foraging adventure by sticking close to the ground a mere twenty meters or so from her original destination. Nettles collected, she would move on to chickweed, down her list. Finding patches wild chamomile soon after, would be when she would hear the teacher's warning."Damn, not close,"The young tigress thought since she was further from the others."Looks like peace is out,"Miya sighed before setting her foraging basket down and making haste to help with the Snake Grimm, unless something stopped her first...

Xanthe Shaw
Xanthe was slightly apprehensive that they might just reject the idea of a competition and instead want to just stick to doing what the teacher had suggested. And in that case she was planning on asking Ylva about why she had set up a camp in the woods ahead of the class and if she was planning on running away. Not that running away was a problem, it was just nice to know in advance. Thankfully that question didn't need to be voiced in that moment as one of the members of the other teams pseudo agreed to the competition, he said that he wouldn't loose, didn't agree on a plant and then jogged off. She could hear him announcing what plants were from the other side of a bush and assumed that while he talked a big game, it was unlikely the interaction would lead to anything. She sighed and then looked at his team mate, who hadn't disappeared yet. "Valerian?" She suggested to the woman since her friend was now elsewhere, proclaiming to have named grass. "It is in the book." She added helpfully, before walking away to find it on her own.
She had tracked down Ylva after finishing the very short conversation with team Dark and informed her what they were looking for but the competition wasn't looking too intense. "So, why do you have a camp pre set up?" She asked, breaking down after dwelling on it for too long, hoping that her imagination had just run amok and that Ylva wasn't planning on vanishing one night. She looked up from a bushel of pale pink flowers which she had tied with grass and set aside in the shade of a tree. She had picked the plant because she had spotted a load in the direction her friend had been heading. There was a crash nearby and then moments later the announcement of Grimm incoming. "Hold that thought." A scream broke out close by and Xanthe took off running, her spear was still on her back but with one quick motion she slipped the strap off her shoulder and was carrying it in her hand. She spotted her prey as it rose up to strike its own, she launched herself in front of it's victim, took a second to regain her balance, then thrust her weapon into it's body. She hoped that a sudden attack would take the beast by surprise and allow for a deep wound.

There was so much anger, and Azura couldn't blame him. Everyone grieved differently. The poor tree didn't stand a chance as it shuttered from blow after blow until finally, she hugged him from behind. "It's okay Cecil." Azura said gently, holding him tight. She didn't know what he was apologizing for. Interrupting their assignment? Breaking down in public? Maybe breaking down in general, or all above. It didn't matter. "Not even the best huntsman can prepare for everything, and you are an excellent huntsman. You'll do your family proud, but for now, just let yourself breathe Cecil. Training can wait. Adam, Ridley and I are all here to support you. Just breath and let it all out."
She gave a small jump at the sound of Dr. Field's voice behind her. She'd been so focused on trying to give Cecil even the smallest amount of comfort she hadn't noticed his approach. The Doctor was right of course, for more than one reason. The problem being she wasn't sure if Cecil could get his legs under him at the present moment. Azura was about to answer the doctor when a loud cracking sound caused her to quickly turn her attention. A scream in the distance, but Cecil and Azura had more immediate concerns as a King Taijitu was rapidly slithering towards them. "Cecil! Grimm!"
Azura quickly activated her semblance, using her illusions to make it appear to the giant snake that the trio were standing a few feet to the right of where they really were. Cecil's emotions were so strong she knew it wouldn't be easily fooled, but by making such a small change, she hoped it would cause the creature's strike to miss. Then, she quickly shoved Cecil to the left, activated her defensive aura, stood and reached into her bag for a large gravity dust.
If her illusion was enough to confuse the snake, Azura would have enough time to throw the large crystal at the creatures two heads, pinning it down long enough for the class to get their bearings and mount a counterattack
If it was not fooled (still strikes directly at Cecil due to his strong emotions) then Azura would be caught while reaching into her bag, but Cecil would be relatively safe, due to her shoving him out of the way at the last second.

Cecil was about to knock the tree over with one final punch before Azura saved the tree, coming from behind and giving him a hug. He was so frustrated but he was shaking as she hugged him while he listened to her kind words of telling him that it was okay. They were bittersweet words, but he knew that she was only trying to help calm him down and his mind was processing in fog now. Rage was running rampant but he retained his humanity as he slowly dropped his hands when she began to speak about how the best huntsmen couldn't prepare for everything and her compliments and her instructions to just breathe caused him to nod his head. His apology was for in general as obvious as it was but his sorrow was making him a prime scent for any grimm to pick up and he heard the voice of the teacher as he approached. He slowly moved his head, tear-stricken and all as he spoke about being sent back to the dorms. Just as he and Azura were about to speak, the scream from a distance had occurred. His eyes widened as he realized what might have just happened as he looked to the source of the scream. 'No....' Was his first thought as he slowly looked, it was as if time had dilate to his perception, everything was going slow as he could see a large figure coming towards them. 'No no no no!' And the words of both Azura and the Professor made him realize that it was all true.
He could see the large King Taijitu moving closer, two of them as he began to slowly try to get up, his legs a bit numb for the moment but not immobile as his muscles were tensing up. His sorrow was slowly translating to anger as his mind flashed back to the night he had gone home. His mother in tears and a Vale Police officer explaining what had happened, that a creature of grimm had ended his father's life as confirmed by his phone message she had gotten sent. The memoirs he had gotten and the techniques he had learned within the course of the time between then and classes he remembered what his father had said to awaken his semblance at its highest capacity. Just as he was about to say the words to give him grounded time and activate his semblance, he was pushed aside by Azura, causing him to look to her, his eyes dilated in horror as he looked to see her pulling out large gravity dust. He couldn't help it and shouted... ""Azura!!!" He stabilized himself as best as he could, stumbling from the shove onto his feet firmly as he could see the White and Black heads moving their way in swift snake strikes. ""Fated as a huntsman..... fated to be hunted. Forgive me, Father, for I have given in to sin... Obliger!!!" Suddenly, his aura activated violently as he drew out his Reiterpallasch and he aimed to poise it up and stab at any head that came at him with the Sharp needle of his rapier, his strength adding into the back as his muscles tensed further.

Ylva was searching for wild garlic while conversing with her partner. Tail swaying slowly as she walked, but her ears never stopped twitching in different directions; listening for any danger. Since the mission with the other Vacuo loyalists, she had kept her elder's' teachings in mind."Why?"Ylva's eyes repeated Xanthe's question as she tilted her head."Alright,"She replied, before she could answer the question."Trouble,"Ylva thought, only a little bit before they would hear the teacher's warning of Grimm."I'll keep an eye out,"She told her partner. Not because she was scared, but because the petite wolf was going to let the others handle the snake Grimm while Ylva would go and check to make sure there were not More Grimm coming. If there were, she would engage in combat with them...If there were not, she would join the others in the fight with the snake Grimm.

【 KING TAIJITU A 】 【 Attacking ≡ Xanthe and a civilian 】 The beast reacted with the speed and fluidity of movement that defines the term serpentine grace. The strike shifted out of the path it intended to avoid the path of Xanthe's spear. The tip hit the creature along the right side of its black head. It looked like the edge may have cut through the scaly skin in some places before the beast recoiled and recovered from the lunge. Unfortunately between the shift in course, the scales, and the boney mask like plates that cover the black head it didn't seem likely any cuts given to its face were deep. The King Taijitu shook its black head as it recovered, hissing and spitting in annoyance at the interruption of its victory. This gave Xanthe the time she needed to really get her footing. Soon enough though the black head ceased shaking about and turned to fixate upon her. The red eyes seeming to burn all the brighter as the beast hissed at her. The beast began to move swiftly. The black head rising even higher off the ground as it loomed over the lone huntswoman, drawing her to lift her chin and look up as the white side of the body swept in over the ground she stood upon. The civilian who was still laying on the ground curled up with a whimper though the mass passed harmlessly over him. Xanthe who was standing though would have the thick mass of muscle slam into her with the force of a run away truck rolling down a hill if she didn't see through the black head's distraction.
【 KING TAIJITU B 】 【 Attacking ≡ Cecil, Azura, and Vincent 】 When Azura created her illusion it was hard to say if the grimm was distracted or not. The leading white head paused for but a fraction of a second and the black head took the lead without missing a beat. Their timing for their attack wasn't hindered in the least though as by the time the beast arrived in striking range the white head had the lead once more and struck. Azura had pushed Cecil clear of the attack moments before the grimm lashed out. Azura would find the dust crystal in her bag that she was looking for. With it clutched in her hand she'd look up from the bag to act on her plan to throw it, but the sight that greeted her was not a distracted grimm a dozen yards away. It was a beast's gullet ringed by fangs that were easily the size of her forearm just three or four feet away from her head. It closed in inch by inch as if in slow motion as every corner of her mind raced with the primal fear that came with the though of 'I'm about to be eaten alive.' It was two feet away now when her mind finally processed that she was hearing movement to either side of her. From the left side of her vision came the end of a rapier while the barrel of a rifle fixed with a bayoneted came from the right corner or her field of view. The two blades buried themselves into the roof of the approaching mouth near the corners of their respective sides. They were driven in deep as the mouth closed in a little more before it began to bellow in pain. For Vincent and Cecil they could see the King Taijitu's entire body stop it's actions as it began to writhe around and squirm in pain. They held off the jaws until the white head gave up on making a meal out of Azura and pulled back, freeing their blades from the roof of its mouth.
With the white head now flailing about and snapping its jaws as it tried to get the pain to subside the black one came forth. Vincent actives his semblance at this point causing Cecil and Azura to both feel their emotions dull. Even so Cecil still has the strongest emotional signature as Vincent's semblance can calm emotions but not cancel or conceal them fully so it is upon him that the black head fixates on. It would rather wait for the other head to recover and join it however it doesn't think it has time to do so. The hunters needed to be kept busy. So it lashes out to bite at Cecil. Snapping at the youth in repeated lightning fast strikes which can be fairly easily seen through as being too short to really reach him. Instead they were meant to drive him and the other two back while at the same time maybe trying to snatch their weapons away.

Ylva's patrolling doesn't reveal any more indication of grimm activity.
【 Result of 41-100: 】
As she patrolled around to the rear of the class's battle with the King Taijitu her ears would perk up in the direction of some rustling leaves. Looking that way would reveal nothing but trees. There was no large foliage on the ground that could be rustling or obstructing her view. There it was again. Up? As she moved closer and turned her gaze to the tree branches Ylva would see them shaking here and there. The leaves rustling against one other as they were disturbed. Something was disturbing the tree tops and it wasn't the wind as the air had been calm and still since the class arrived.
