"Sure, no problem." Even if she didn't go around helping everyone she wouldn't deny help to someone if they asked for it. Nykinae blinked at him as he mentioned that his family liked to take the hard road. Who would do that? If there was an easier way then use it. She shook her head slightly at the idea then stopped walking in the middle of the market, since it was close to where they would part ways.

"My dad's name is Kiyelt. He's kinda tall, has long hair with a white streak and a goatee." Kina brought her hands up to show where her dad's facial hair was. "You really can't miss him."

"He sounds rather distinguished. Only really cool people in my experience can manage a goatee." So far he was too young to produce much more than slightly gnarly peach fuzz, but he was holding up hope for a bit more soon. He felt like it would give him character.

He could feel the pride in her voice. He thought that was quite neat. What a well brought up lass. He made note of the firey intelligence in her eyes and wondered how scary her Father would be in real life if this was a girl about his age and she carried such a presence, a force of personality about her.

"My dad is the best." She straightened up a little. "He's a good looking man so I'm surprised my mom managed to catch him." It was no secret that she was a daddy's girl. In her family her dad was her favorite, her siblings came next, then her mother. Not to say she didn't like the woman, she was just picky.

"You can always stop by my place and talk to him." She pointed in the direction she was going to keep walking in. "Our house is the fourth one after you leave the shopping district, right on the beach." Since the boy would be looking for her father she didn't mind telling him where she lived. Not to mention everyone in town already knew where she and her siblings lived. "There is a garden in the front with some painted stones."

"I'll be sure to, my thanks." Well this had been a fortuitous encounter for him. He was tired of exploring, he would stay for a while until the wandering winds called him forth once again. Who knew how long that would take.

He turned and strode off about his business. In the end he was able to secure a shack for the night with more exploring of better buildings on the morrow. He planned to walk down the beach and check for tide pools. He had heard of them but this would be his first chance to see them.

She gave another nod of her head then reached up to flip her hair over her shoulder. It was long enough, even pulled up, that it hung down far enough. Kina started walking again, this time picking up the pace so that she could make it home quickly. She wanted to get a bath and wash up so that she didn't feel sticky from sweat. Plus she didn't want to be late to the race.
