When she was scooped up she gave a small squeal of laughter as she wrapped her arms about his neck. She didn't think he would drop her but she did want to keep close in case he tripped or something. As he agreed that dinner would be fine she gave a grin. All she would need to do is let Jax know to be home then. She suspected he would need to tell Brexxa since the girl was still somewhat angry with her.
"You know I do not need you to do everything right?" She shook her head at him. Of course she wouldn't stop him from pampering her if he wanted. Kalli liked the attention he showed. He was cute when he did such things. "I think tomorrow we should clean out the nursery room and see what we need." That was a good place to start after all.

Gael 9/10
He leaned down and nuzzled his face against her. "Mm, I know I don't have to but I want to." Gael kissed her cheek then her forehead before paying attention to where he was going. He easily navigated his way up to their door and held her with ease as he opened it. It took some maneuverability to get them both in without hitting anyone's anything off the door frame but he managed it. Inside he closed the door with a foot and took Kalli right to their room and their bed.
He hadn't been able to stop and remove his boots so he would have to sweep later but that was fine with him. As he set her down he leaned over to give her a kiss again. When he pulled away he was busy removing her shoes for her. "What would you like for dinner tonight then? I'll cook for you."

She was amazed that he managed to get through the door with both of them and not bump into anything. She supposed he was good at carrying precious cargo though since it was part of his job. When she was set down she had meant to get back up but he kissed her and took her shoes. Kalli laughed and shook her head at him. "So I get dinner in bed now?" She might get used to this.
"Hmn, what about that delicious flat bread you are really good at making? We should have some dipping oils still." It was more of a treat food but she couldn't help it. She loved the snack and she'd run out when he was away for work.

As he took her other shoe from her he nodded up at her. "Dinner. Breakfast. Lunch. Whatever you want you can have in bed." He moved up again to give her a kiss again, quite happy to distract her with affection.
When she said what she wanted he laughed and nodded his head. "As you wish, Beautiful. I'll get it started and while it's baking I'll come back in to rub your feet, how's that sound?" She might not be showing now but he still wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. She was precious before but now she was carrying something precious too.

Her other shoe was stolen from her and she gave him a fake pout. Kalli soaked up the affection and when he told her she was practically going to be spoiled she shook her head at him. "How did no one scoop you up until now?" She was truly amazed that the man had stayed single as long as he had.
The promise of a foot rub was too much of a bribe. "That sounds heavenly. I'll help you with the bread so that it's done quicker." Before he could argue with her she was up and grabbing his arm to go with him to the kitchen. They had a bun to cook.
